24.01.2022 Big thanks to High Range Outdoors the mail arrived today and I can resurrect an old favourite of mine. My old TRU-SPEC bag had a blow out probably 6 months ago now. I finally found a replacement I was happy with and the rest is history. The replacement feels of a much better construction than the original. This will probably go back to being my day to day work bag and the abuse that goes with it.

23.01.2022 Hello everyone, need some Tec advice. Who uses these power banks and chargers, any good??? https://www.aussietechindustries.com

23.01.2022 G'day everyone and thanks for your patience over the last five weeks or so. I was up in FNQ around the Tully region. Apart from not seeing a drop of rain the whole time I was there, I did manage to see a hell of a lot of wildlife. I was also able to tick off the cassowary which has evaded me for years. Also Pioneer Bushcraft is sitting at about 320 plus likes, so thanks again.

19.01.2022 To continue improving my knife skills (not just wood carving) I have decided to "Ban the Block" this week. I won't use the kitchen knives for a week and will prepare food with my bush knives.

17.01.2022 Went out to clear my head today. Came back with the beginnings of my next project. I'm thinking some large and small spoons.

17.01.2022 G'day everyone. Just been reading the newsletter for February from Bush Lore Australia and if you weren't aware Rich has been "volunteered" to speak at the TEDx Talk in Melbourne in May. Do yourself a favour and click on the link and subscribe. https://www.youtube.com/user/TEDxTalks... Then go to http://www.bushloreaustralia.com.au and read through some of his content and courses. Im keen to see what he chooses to speak on but Im sure he won't disappoint.

15.01.2022 Out and about exploring tracks in a new area I've moved to. For some reason I've been filled with the urge to go climbing, and sleep in some caves.

05.01.2022 When harvesting water from transpiration bags it's common practice to puncture the lowest point on the bag or remove it from the limb altogether to collect the water. Now by adding the hose in the beginning I essentially have a straw or a hose to drink or fill containers from.
