21.01.2022 It can sometimes be hard to focus on positives in a time of crisis, but when we pause to reflect, there have been so many, and there is so much that we have learnt. We always knew PVS students were like no other, and COVID-19 has cemented the fact that our children are extremely capable, resilient, caring and able. The last few weeks our leaders every morning have been helping our younger children to move swiftly to class and be ready to start on the bell. Since there were n...o parents allowed on-site, our Drop Off and Collection Zone was appreciated by our families. The following important lessons have also been learnt; Developing cross-age friendships and leadership skills in all children occur daily at morning drop off at our school gates. Taking responsibility for a younger student establishes strong relationships. Children who enter school grounds independently instantly follow school rules, and therefore start the day in a very settled manner. All children carried their own bags. All children unpack their own bag each morning and have taken responsibility regardless of age.

08.01.2022 An Afternoon on the Green A big thank you to all of our families who enjoyed our PVS Afternoon on the Green. As part of our outdoor classroom day, families were invited to join us on the oval to enjoy a picnic dinner, with a live DJ & games and see their child’s class artwork on display.... Our School oval was turned into a huge disco-themed dance floor where children of all ages danced the afternoon away with plenty of games and prizes. Special thanks to Nicko's Kitchen for providing delicious food, Courage Coffee Van and our wonderful P&F for all your hard work.
