24.01.2022 Hi everyone About three years ago, we were very lucky to welcome a new employee to Pioneer Country furniture called David Bosco. Over the last 3 years, we have seen David grow as a person and get his motorbike licence. He has changed so much from when we first met. He is more confident talking to people and starting a conversation was always difficult but look at our young man now. ... He has started rock and roll dancing, which has also been very beneficial to David''s growth and the ladies love him. David is now spreading his wings and moving to Adelaide, and we are going to miss him so much. David has become a huge part of mine and Louise's life and we both, as well as our past and current employees wish David all the best in Adelaide.

19.01.2022 It has been a few months since our last post. Covid-19 has certainly changed the world and has affected so many people, businesses, lives, sport, etc. And our dancing. We have continued to trade as normal, and as always we are very busy. We recently purchased a new work ute for our deliveries, since our previous one was purchased new in 2004, so it was time.... Next week, we will be doing the filming for our television advertisement, so that will be exciting and interesting. I figure you will never know if you don't try. We have also employed one more person, such a beautiful bright person named Cheyanne, and we are looking forward to watching her progress. Within the next two weeks, we will be giving another person an opportunity. Luke has been here six months now and is going exceptionally well. Kim is still with us. We are so very proud of Kim and the things he has achieved up until now and we also look forward to watching him progress. We must also say a big thank you to Lee and her staff at Wise Employment. I have been dealing with them for nearly 20 years and have never been disappointed. They are fantastic for their clients and also the employers. They are good honest genuine people who are always there to assist. Stay safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you in the future. And thank you for all your support over the past nearly 20 years.

18.01.2022 Pioneer Country Furniture's showroom is still open on weekdays from 9 to 5,featuring our 800 m2 large showroom with something for everyone, and our workshop is still operating as normal, where we repair and restore furniture, as well as constructing new furniture along with many other facets to our business. We have a wide variety of reproduction handles, hinges and door furniture in our showroom, which are ideal for DIY work during the colder months. And if there is something that you want that we don't have in stock, we are able to place an order for next day delivery. Feel free to drop in and have a browse.

17.01.2022 I would like to introduce to you our newest employee, Luke Slaven. He has been with us for two weeks now and I have found him to be a really nice person. We all wish him the best as we see him continually grow in confidence and skills at Pioneer Country Furniture. Also, Mark Bullets' 13 week work hardening period has come to an end and we have been very very lucky to have Mark for that period, and I hope we have been beneficial to Mark's progress. New furniture continues to be constructed and antique furniture continues to be restored in our workshop, with more pieces coming and going on a regular basis. 12.01.2022 We have been lucky enough to have the services of Mark Bullet he will be with us for 13 weeks on work hardening program. after a work accident. Mark is a nice person he relates well to everyone in our workplace and also to customers in the showroom also while delivering. He is able to perform well in our workshop. Understanding our standards perfectly. we wish mark well in the future

09.01.2022 everyone at pioneer country furniture would to wish our employee kim our deepest sympathy after the passing of his grandfather in a boating accident last week kim is an important person in our lives and we all wish him the best for a very hard day tomorrow

07.01.2022 Large amount of records for sale, assorted prices We have been able to get our stockpile of records sorted and priced, and are pleased to announce that they are now for sale! With a wide variety from classical to country to rock and roll, we are bound to have something to suit a wide variety of tastes, with such bands like The Beatles, ABBA to Mozart and Bach.... We are open from 9 to 5 on weekdays and 10 to 2 on weekends, and are located on 4 Allan Drive, Mount Gambier. Call Pioneer Country Furniture on 08 8723 6340, or stop by and have a look around!

05.01.2022 New to our showroom is our new range of antique reproduction 8 drawer chests made in solid pine, but can be made in a variety of solid timbers, in our onsite workshop, this design features the iconic side spindles and the turned feet which enhances the look of the piece, and are ideal for an older house or for extra storage. They are available either raw for $1700 or polished for $1850. As announced recently, we are still open from 9 to 5 on weekdays, continuing to build and restore furniture, be it new or used.

01.01.2022 Here are some before and after photos of a finished timber chest by our new employee, Luke. As part of the restoration process, the lid and chest had to be separated so that they could both be sanded back to remove the old polish and repair any damage. We think he's done a fantastic job and we are all very proud of him.
