25.01.2022 Thanks to the Karoonda & Districts Historical Society for their tireless efforts over many working bees to plan, prepare and install the new entry signage to the Pioneer Park. Well done!

25.01.2022 Circa 1950 Fordson tandem tractors // The combining of 2 tractors in to one unit was a way of getting increased horsepower and greater traction at a relatively low cost. These tractors used a Perkins 4.7litre 6-Cyl diesel engine and were rated at 45hp so this combination provided up to 90hp which was not readily affordable at the time. These tractors were donated to the Karoonda Historical Society by the family of the late David Wilson of Marama.

04.01.2022 What a spectacular night! The newest display shed here at Pioneer Park was the venue for a recent event - ‘SALA In the Park’. This was a ‘1 night only’, pop up gallery of artworks by South Australians which featured on the Karoonda Silo Art SALA projection during August (including three super talented Karoonda locals). The freshly installed shearing plant was the perfect stage for the formalities of the night. ... If you are interested in event hosting at the Park, please get in touch with the Karoonda & Districts Historical Society for further information.
