24.01.2022 Weve had some queries regarding the status of Pipeline Challenge 2020 and we know some people are worried about making such a commitment with so much uncertainty around. Therefore, we want to communicate our intentions and plans really clearly. We have every intention of going ahead with Pipeline Challenge 2020 in May, as planned. With how rapidly things are changing, we have of course had to think about a Plan B. If we are advised by Australian Government health professio...nals to cancel the event we will then look to reschedule in Spring. Participants will have a choice to either get a full refund of their event registration or carry it over to the rescheduled date. If you have any questions or concerns please dont hesitate to get in touch [email protected]

20.01.2022 2018 Pipeliner Abbey had such a blast she returned in 2019 with her family in the saddle too! Here's what she said when we asked her what she'd say to people thinking about signing up. "I had family fly all the way from Tasmania to participate...its worth it! I rode 6 months after having a massive pulmonary embolism your excuse is invalid!" We take our helmet off to Abbey and loved having her and her family in 2019. One member of Team Rad was 17 year old cousin Dylan who ke...pt the team on their toes. We hope to see you all again for 2020! To find out more or to register, head on over to our website pipelinechallenge.com.au/

19.01.2022 On this day, 117 years ago, the first gallon of water flowed from Mundaring to Kalgoorlie through a pipe ridiculed by spectators of an engineering feat. Turn your pipe dream into a reality by registering for the Pipeline Challenge 2020 today! https://youthfutureswa.z2systems.com//youthfutu/event.jsp&... #charitybikeride #mtbwa #rideofyourlife #goldenpipeline

We hope to reschedule the event for spring and will communicate the new date as soon as possible. We hear some of you breathing a sigh of relief as this gives you more time to train! Let's hope we can emerge from this troubled time as a stronger, more resilient, compassionate community

08.01.2022 We were devastated in more ways than one when we had to cancel this year's Pipeline Challenge. Thankfully, your tremendous fundraising efforts from last year topped up by a $100,000 grant from Lotterywest, for what you would have raised this year, means that we can keep the Nest operational for another year - supporting young families to stay together in safe homes. Here's Dave Kelly MP and Emily Hamilton MLA joined by Antony Feldhusen from Lotterywest at our HQ to presenting us with the grant.Thank you Lotterywest!

08.01.2022 Just two more weeks until registrations for Pipeline Challenge 2020 close! Register via our website www.pipelinechallenge.com.au

07.01.2022 It's with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of Pipeline Challenge 2020. The success of the event depends on multiple independent factors and with so much uncertainty we feel it's best to write this one off and come back bigger in 2021. See you in May - precise dates will be released soon.

07.01.2022 Pipelines. It’s what we do. That’s the slogan for our major event sponsor Pipecraft and this is them taking that statement to the next level!

02.01.2022 The Pipeline Challenge was created to fund our Nest program. Its been a while since we told this story and following some feedback we wanted to share the story of Sarah. The Nest was originally developed in response to an identified gap in services. It all started with Sarah, a 17 year old who was staying at our crisis accommodation refuge, TINOCA. She had been homeless for many years, sleeping under bridges and in abandoned buildings in the city. Sarah was nine months pregna...nt. She had never used any drugs, never been violent or aggressive, had no mental health issues, and was a kind person with good living skills and a calm nature. She remained in a long term relationship with her partner, who was 19 and also homeless. The team at TINOCA had done all they could to find ongoing safe and secure long-term accommodation for Sarah. The options were non-existent for when the baby arrived and we were told that they weren't allowed to stay at TINOCA. We wished Sarah all the best and had strong faith that the social workers at King Edward Memorial Hospital would be able to find suitable accommodation for her and her newborn. The birth went well and Sarah had a beautiful baby boy called Jake. Unfortunately as the time drew closer for Sarah and Jake to leave the hospital, no accommodation in Perth could be found. Sadly due to the obvious concerns for both Sarah and her infant the Department for Child Protection took custody of Jake for a minimum of 2 years. Sadly, Sarah was not given a chance to develop her skills as a mother and was understandably heartbroken. In response to this, the Nest was created. Since 2008, we've helped hundreds of young families and 93% of our parents have kept custody of their children, allowing families to remain together; the benefits of which are priceless. The Nest receives no Government funding so the Pipeline Challenge was created to help keep the program going. Thank you for choosing to ride for a great cause
