25.01.2022 Another great wedding!! This one had classic cars, sun and completed with a "SMASHING" glass ritual, there will be many years of happiness to Daniel and Alina. I did get a tad sunburnt, must rememeber that for next time. Oh..and if you like the look of the cars let me know I can get you in contact. #pippaflanagancelebrant #aislemarryyou #italiansportsclubwerribee #smashingtheglass #melbournewedding #summerwedding #chevy #sweetride

16.01.2022 Occupational hazard, I see a wedding and I look at it through a professional lense. Always on the look out for new ideas to incorporate and suggest to my couples. Currently on holidays in Koh Samui I was able to watch a gorgeous wedding ceremony of a lovely Irish couple. Slàinte to James and Sarah.

11.01.2022 What a wonderful wedding full of history and meaning. Tim and I have known each other since we were very little. So when I was asked to conduct the most special day of his life I could not say yes quick enough. When I met Dani I knew exactly why Tim had fallen head over heels for her and I could see the relationship was a perfect fit. Having picked Athol Hall in Sydney as it had the perfect blend of city and country, little did Tim know it was steeped in his family history.... Having organised a generational ring to be given to Dani as the wedding band, the family started doing a little research. It was discovered that this particular ring would know this spot rather well as it belonged to Tim's Great Grandmother who was married to William Clark who back in the late 1800's ran Athol Hall as a dance hall and local swilling establish. Such a wonderful moment. Happy Anniversary Dani and Tim and may you together always keep watching the Tomatoes grow xx

11.01.2022 Designing and conducting culturally diverse ceremonies is one of the many privileges I have the opportunity to experience as a celebrant. My cousin’s ceremony in Singapore was one such occasion. I worked closely with the couple to curate a ceremony fusing Western and Eastern culture, whilst highlighting the importance of family throughout the ceremony. As a celebrant, attention to detail is imperative, and significant research was undertaken in close consultation with the cou...ple to ensure all cultural requirements of the ceremony were met, including any colours I should avoid wearing according to the cultural traditions. As always, I wanted the ceremony to be seamless (not just for Charles and May May, but with family also in attendance I was certainly feeling the pressure), however having to be ready to be adaptable on the fly is a skill that comes in handy........ The ceremony commenced, complete with a live stream for family that could not make the trip. All was going to plan until an unforeseen moment occurred in the middle of the ceremony, with May May and myself at the front whilst Charles escorted the Singaporean official out of the ceremony, as his duty was complete (the official conducted the legal paperwork as I am only able to solemnise marriages in Australia). Adjusting quickly to the situation whilst waiting for Charles to return, I was able to draw the attention of guests back to the moment and complimented May May on how stunning she looked in her traditional red ceremony dress. Nothing like raising a round of applause to make the Bride feel special and bridge an unforeseen gap in proceedings! In typical fashion, Charles made a suave return to the ceremony which progressed smoothly and concluded with a traditional Tea Ceremony. After the formalities concluded, I adopted the role of MC and welcomed the new families together, whilst ensuring the remainder of the evening ran smoothly. Charles and May May, I wanted to thank you for allowing me to be such a special part of the families celebration of your joining, what fun we had. To finish with the words of Charles, Today is about the future. Venue: The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore Date: July 2 2016

07.01.2022 Wow such a gorgeous and unique place for a ceremony, a house with no walls!! #pippaflanagancelebrant #aislemarryyou #eumundiwedding #loveislove #housewithnowalls #andreakirwin

06.01.2022 Gorgeous last day of winter for a cute and simple morning park wedding. One of the tricky things as a Celebrant is to pick when to do the No Impediment to Marriage. Must be close to but before the ceremony. So if you dont see your Celebrant, they will potentially be chasing you as you get out of the car to sign the document!! Congratulations to Tuan and Yui!! #aislemarryyou #pippaflanagancelebrant #parkwedding #bestroadieever #footscraypark #winterwedding @ Footscray Park and Gardens

06.01.2022 What a wedding this was, everything flowed, the rain, the emotion, the tears, the laughter, the champagne, the teamwork but most importantly the love. This story is about what happened when my personal trainer Tony Attridge and nutritionist Erin Brealey gave me the honour of being their Celebrant and MC... First thing I thought was ohhh I better really focus on my training now, but then secondly, I realised I was now able to tell my trainer what to do..a rare occasion I took ...full advantage of. With every cheeky directive I knew I would pay for it later in the gym, worth the pain I figure..( come on..who would not take advantage of being able to make your trainer drink with every toast ;)) December in Melbourne, a great time to have an outdoor wedding. The plan was to be married under the fig tree in the middle of the Melbourne zoo. BUT...true to Melbourne's form the heavens opened and we experienced a once in 100 yr flash flood/storm. This did not "dampen" the mood. Much like their approach to their clients, adaptation and tweaking of programs, Erin and Tony embraced the situation beautifully from the ceremony to the reception and the amazing photo's, their day was purrrfect. Some of the highlights of the day: - The raw emotion and love that everyone could all feel that day - Having the rather large muscleman grooms attendee put the signing tabs all over me and then I had to try to be serious with them still on me when I was announcing the bride and groom - When an award winning wedding photographer who has seen a LOT of weddings mention how impressed he was with the ceremony and how he had not seen before such a ceremony encapsulate the pure love these two have for each other. - The photos...oh wow...the photos...I am still in awe of the photos Mauro and his team from Dezine by Mauro Wedding Photography Melbourne are magic - Finding a second roadie for the day - Working with a great brides attendee who was able to make my role easy - Having to postpone the entrance of the bride and groom as they were so cold and wet from the photo shoot and with no body fat to warm them up I gave them both a big hug to get the circulation going again (given the groom is not big on hugs, this was an interesting few mins) - Being able to raise a glass to my health coaches and not be scolded ( pretty sure the million squats in my program were a direct result of that move though) - One of the most heart felt impromptu speeches I have heard that made everyone reach for the tissues Most of all being able to have the privilege of being an integral part of my friends very special day that makes my heart fill with the warmth of love every time I think of this day and your love for each other. Happy Anniversary Erin Brealey and Tony Attridge, here is to many more to come xx

04.01.2022 A nice plug from my association Civil Celebrations Network - CCN. As a Celebrant having access to a network of people who can help with brainstorming, backup for emergencies and being able to share our great experiences with is essential to constantly grow and offer my couples fresh ideas.

04.01.2022 Ahoy me hearties, what a great day to wish this seafaring couple a big Happy Anniversary, arrr. When I found out that we would be doing the ceremony on The Windeward Bound in Hobart Harbour, I knew this was going to be fun. Horse drawn carriages, Pirate talk, sword jumping, JJs dog Karma and as you can see so much love. It was an honour to stand in for the Captain to conduct this ceremony for Janine and Dale. May you have fair winds and following seas xx

02.01.2022 Who would have thought a Cape York camping trip would lead to this great love story. Happy 1st Anniversary to a very special couple Ash and Alex. Having been with them on the rather epic weekend in the bush when they began their courtship, they become very special people to me so when they asked me if I would come back to Weipa to marry them, I said my bags are already packed. Flying back into Weipa after a few years away, I was reminded very quickly just how much I loved thi...s place and the people in it...(and my roadie found out that my explanation of just hot darn hot it is was not an exaggeration). Being a very emotional lead up to to this ceremony, I was working on overdrive to make sure everything was perfect for Ash and Alex. With all their friends and family rallying around them to make and set up the day, it certainly was perfect Weipa wedding. With the burning of the driftwood archway ritual conducted at the end off the night I was able to take off my professional hat and let the emotion flow, and boy what a beautiful moment to witness. Ash and Reidy remember, you may not always have it all together, but together you certainly do have it all. See more

01.01.2022 A big happy 1st Anniversary to Trina and Chook. A very special ceremony under a favourite tree on Trina's family farm made for a lovely country wedding. One of my loves as a celebrant is to get to know the couple and guide the design of the ceremony to be unique and taylor made. As Trina, Chook and myself were brainstorming ideas of how to do this, I was asked if we could design something that would involve around 15 people. Having a moment of panic of thinking how can I do... that...I suggested either a sand ceremony or given they had traveled the world together maybe a love lock ceremony. What turned out was just perfect. Thanks to my roadie Mike putting in hours of pre work of measuring and practice...as we were conducting the ceremony, watching the creation of each layer symbolising family, friends, parenthood and future it worked perfectly for me to seal it all with a love lock. It was not only a great moment but I also let out a large exhale as it worked as planned!! Phew!! With the shed being transformed into a reception venue worthy of being on the block complete with food trucks the night was full of love. Trina and Chook, as I said on the day "just keep doing what you are doing as it works" Pippa and Mike x

01.01.2022 Happy 1st Anniversary to the lovely Siobhan and Daniel. This was the first wedding I have been able to relax and drag my roadie out of retirement, yes Mike does ceremonies as well. What made this even more special, is that Daniel is Mikes second cousin. Set on the family farm, the ceremony was planned to be on the steps of the old dairy shed. The day before at rehearsal it was a perfect spring day. We were all looking forward to another brilliant spring day for the wedding da...y..... but as we know...outdoor weddings do not come without risk. The weather had turned on us and with an hr to go before the ceremony we almost enacted plan B. The decision was made to hold fast to the original plan, thankfully the rain and wind held off till the end which is when we were under the marquee enjoying a champagne and looking back at the impeccable timing. A beautiful ceremony was conducted with the girls turning up in very shiny 4wds and the gorgeous flower girl walking up the aisle...twice. Congratulations and it was an honor for both of us to be a part of your special day. Photographer: Prue Peters Location: Biltris Family Farm, Kyabram
