Slightly sticky to the touch, this sheen helps protect its skin from scuffing and marking, much like bees protect their honeycomb with natural wax, PIQABOO protects itself with this unique sheen. How amazing!! This totally natural and unique feature helps growers know when the fruit is ripe and ready to pick and it also helps prevent the fruit from drying out, so it stays crisp, juicy and fr...esh in the fruit bowl. 24.01.2022 Oh my you definitely need to save this recipe using PIQABOO for next years season. Sugar et al. has done it again! ---------- Pear, Chocolate and Hazelnut Friands Makes 7-8 large friands ... 5 egg whites, lightly whisked 1 cup Hazelnut meal (ground hazelnuts) cup plain flour 2 tbsp cocoa powder 170 g unsalted butter, melted 1 cup icing sugar 3-4 PIQABOO , cored, quartered Preheat oven to 180 (160 for fan forced). Lightly grease friand moulds or any other pan youd like to use. Place all the ingredients except the pears together in a bowl. Whisk until well blended. Divide the mixture amongst the moulds (make sure you only will up about the molds). Slice the pear quarters and press onto the friand batter in each mold. Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on the size of your mold and until cooked through. Remove from oven and leave aside for 5 minutes. Then gently turn onto a wire rack to cool.
