The Pirtek Fishing Challenge’s goal is to raise funds for the Pet...er Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit St Vincent's Curran Foundation and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. The Pirtek Fishing Challenge, now in its 13th year has raised over $1.2 million for charity in that time. This year sees several significant changes. Historically, the event has been a one-day event in mid-March but has now become a two-day event on the 17th & 18th of April. The Challenge is also offering a record, $240,000 in cash and prizes for just registering and for on-the-water fishing.
