22.01.2022 REMINDER FOR TOMORROW PIT PONY PARK TREE PLANTING 10am to 12md If you are going to help with the tree planting or moving mulch please bring gloves, shovel & maybe a plastic tub. Dont forget your protective clothing, water & slip slop slap. Look forward to having another great community planting day.

09.01.2022 PIT PONY PARK NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY (FUN DAY) THIS SUNDAY, JULY 31st 10am to 12md Cnr of Waratah & Redhead Streets Kahibah BBQ & Face Painting... Hunter Bird Observers (information on backyard birds) BYO:Protective Clothing, Water & Slip Slop Slap. Please let your neighbours, family & friends know. If your unable to help, come along, we would love your company. This project is in conjunction with the Local Community, Greater Charlestown Substainable Neighbourhood Group & Kahibah Public School. We will be using our Lake Macquarie City Council Sustainability Grant to plant the trees.

04.01.2022 Native Plant Giveaway Lake Macquarie City Council’s annual Native Plant Giveaway will be held on Saturday 24 September at the Living Smart Festival, Speers Point Park, 8am2pm.... Additional plant giveaways will be held at: Belmont Library, 19 Ernest St Tuesday 27 September, 4-6pm Morisset Library, 39 Yambo St Wednesday 28 September, 4-6pm Lake Macquarie residents can choose two free native plants for planting on their private property.
