25.01.2022 Tomorrow LIVE FROM THAILAND!! An opportunity to train with a legend of Muay Thai! https://facebook.com/events/s/ajarn-chai-virtual-seminar/624126734774222/?ti=icl

22.01.2022 Martial arts is a practice of detaching emotions from pain, of living in the flow. Just like in life, sometimes the flow sucks. Having to say goodbye. Losing s...omething important. Getting your dreams dashed. No matter how sucky that moment feels, the most important thing is to show up, and get through with it. The only way to grow and not repeat the lesson again, is to not dodge the process. In the grand scheme of things in life, the sting you feel today will hardly matter. The emotions of this moment will pass. When you know that no matter what curveballs life throws at you, even if you can’t return a clean shot right now, you can still choose to weather through it with grace - that is something you can be proud of. We like to think that we are in command of our destiny, but we’re not. Things happen, life happens, it is not our job to control what happens to us in life. The only thing we can control is how we respond to it. ------- Beautiful portrait of 62 y.o. padholder Morrokot Muangchumpae of the legendary Sor Sommai Gym, by @muaythaixl powered by @primo_fightwear

22.01.2022 I would like to wish all my friends family, industry colleagues students and their families a safe and prosperous festive season. I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each and everyone of my students that continues to train here with the problems COVID-19 has caused and knowing we don’t enter fighters into competition due to the problems the NSW government has caused with our sport and industry . It’s been a long six years since a Pitbull fighter h...as fought, and to my knowledge this is the only gym in New South Wales that has refused to work with the NSW Combat Sport Authority and or the Combat Sport Unit with the Offices of Sport New South Wales. At this point in time I refuse to compromise my beliefs even though it is affects my income significantly. I will continue to endeavour to some how fix the damage the NSW Combat Sport Authority and the Combat Sport Unit with the Offices of Sport New South Wales has caused but it is very hard task to achieve with very little help from the Combat sport Industry, with the exception of my good friend and colleague Mr Robert Murdoch The gym will be open for classes every day as usual except for Xmas day and as always I am available for PTs any day as long as I am not booked at a time you require. Please take care stay safe over this festive season and hope to see you soon much love and respect to all of you. Paul Grima

06.01.2022 'You cannot compare yesterday to today. In my era a fighter had to really sweat to have the opportunity to fight for a World Title. Today, after 10 matches you ...can already fight for the Title. Not only this, they can even choose who they want to fight for fear of losing! What can I say...everything has changed.' - Marvin Hagler
