25.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who bought a sausage sizzle or hot dog yesterday at the Freestyle motorbikes! Your money goes back into the community to help the Pitt Town fishing club For those that don’t know about the club fishing is once a month, you can fish anywhere from 6pm Thursday and weigh in 5pm non daylight saving and 6pm daylight saving Sunday at the Pitt town sports club. $20 to join for the whole year and kids are free! Feel free to join even if you don’t fish much and wan...t to join us on the one Sunday a month for a steak sandwich Next weekend 19,20,21,22 is September fish weekend



24.01.2022 Reminder fishing comp weekend this weekend! Only two more weekends to fish before the end of the year. Weigh your fish in Sunday at the Pitt Town sports club by 5pm. $10 steak sandwich Join the club on the day if you are not already a member for $20.

18.01.2022 Introducing a new category this year in our fishing comp - Catch and release see below info: Catch and release rules: Photo to be taken of fish in entire length tip of nose on 0cm to the tip of the fish’s tale... Date stamp to be put on the photo (or take photo of your photo by screenshot it on your phone and it will show date and time stamp) Fish must look in a lively manner at weigh master’s discretion no blood or gaff holes present Photo must clearly show the whole fish’s length in photo with the measurement clearly visible Video of release if applicable at time of release Weigh in of the same fish in two categories is not allowed for eg. Photo of 30cm brim in catch and release and bring 30cm brim to weigh in. BUT in the event this does legitimately happen sufficient evidence must be supplied that it is not the same fish and will b e determined by the weigh master Must have a brag mat to participate Fish have to be of legal size as per NSW fisheries 3 species per competition Points schedule: Bream X 1 points length up to 40cm X 3 points length over 40cm Flathead X 1 points length up to 70cm X 3 points length over 70cm Jewfish X 1 points length up to 100cm X 3 points length over 100cm Bass & Estuary perch X 1 points length up to 40cm X 3 points length over 40cm Snapper X 1 points length up to 65cm X 3 points length over 65cm King fish X 1 points length up to 100cm X 3 points over 100cm All other eligible species for weighing in for catch and release will be at x 1 of length for points. Example: Flathead with a length of 55cm = 55 points Flathead with a length of 76cm = 225 points September comp started 6pm tonight - be at weigh in Sunday 5pm! Good luck

17.01.2022 Ross, Dylan and Zane took out November fishing weekend. Ross biggest flathead Dylan won juniors Zane won catch and release... Next fishing weekend is Dec 6,7,8 with a Christmas celebration to follow more details to come.

16.01.2022 It was a bream fest at tonight’s weigh in!! Barry Peck - 1.150kg bream Pat Peck - 0.585kg bream Samantha won juniors with a whopper 1.225kg bream... Next fishing weekend and last for the calendar year 1/2nd dec



13.01.2022 Fishing weekend dates for the next few months: JAN - 30,31, feb 1, 2 FEB - 27,28,29, March 1 MARCH - 19,20,21,22... APRIL - 16,17,18,19 MAY - 30 April, 1,2,3 Fish anywhere over those dates and attend the weigh in on the Sunday by 6pm in daylight savings (5pm non daylight savings). Don’t forget catch n release category so ensure photo on measurement showing date and time. Otherwise bring fish to weigh in New members turn up to any weigh in and join club $20 pp for whole year. $10 for the bbq each weigh in

11.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap for 2019!! Luke Bannon taking out the last comp with a 1.3kg flathead. Cooper taking out juniors with a good flatty. 04.01.2022 Good fishing weekend with plenty of fish caught. Biggest bream went to Trevor Kuhn. Biggest flathead Kelly Kuhn and junior winner was Nick with a good size flathead. Catch and release was a tie between bill and cooper Next fishing weekend is 8,9,10 November. Remember if you want to join everyone is welcome just be at the Pitt town sports club to weigh fish in by the Sunday night at 6pm and you can become a member on the fishing weekends once a month
