25.01.2022 Windscreen replacement on a large scale for a valued long term customer.

25.01.2022 Did you know, Engine oil has two fundamentally important jobs for internal combustion engines. " lubricate " and " clean " Lubrication reduces wear and friction of the internally moving parts. The Cleaning properties helps to reduce the excess carbon build up in the engine caused by combustion of fuel and air burning in each cylinder thousands of times per minute. This photo shows the result of not changing your oil regularly. The oil becomes so thick with carbon it can not lubricate properly which then results in friction and heat until the internal parts lock up inside and .... (((BOOM))) .... you have 3 holes in your engine block and a 10k plus repair bill.

24.01.2022 It gives us great pleasure to welcome the newest and biggest asset to the Pit to Port Mining Services fleet, our brand new 921 XXL Hino 300 series. This new service unit has a 1500+km fuel range, capabilities of carrying up to 200 windscreens and 15 sheets of machinery glass for multi site visits without having to return to base. With custom made tool boxes specifically designed for our unique trade skills and tray space which was designed for use as a work platform for those hard to reach jobs safely. This truck was truly designed with ergonomics as the key feature which makes it so efficient to work from. If you are in the Pilbara its safe to say you will see us coming....

22.01.2022 DPF " Diesel Particulate Filter " found in the exhaust system on most late model diesel vehicles, This device is designed to reduce emissions which is great for the environment. However without the correct maintenance the result can be catastrophic and expensive.... This dpf was blocked and melting from the inside out from low speed short trips around town and excessive idle time ( Parked and running with the A/C going for hours).

This customer only came in for a diagnostic scan after reports of it running rough and missing. Upon inspection the dash board on this V6 kia was lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights and no oil on the dipstick just black slime. Safe to say after comparing new and old filters this car was lucky to be running full stop... #Engineoilfilter #airfilter #cabinfilter #100%blocked

20.01.2022 Precious cargo of coach bus windscreens onroute to support one of our many long term valued customers. This trip gave us the opportunity to showcase a new piece of equipment. Our glass/windscreen vacuum lifting machine (OKTOPUS). Not only does having this equipment increase safety it also eliminates manual handling. 10.01.2022 On behalf of Pit to Port Mining Services Pty Ltd we would like to thank Dr AK from Pilbara Dental - South Hedland for the opportunity come down to the opening ceremony of their new practice and be apart of the ribbon cutting of the "First Australians" dental room. Dr AK was experiencing some car troubles a few weeks back whilst coming to town to set up his new clinic, and we were happy to help get him back on the road. Great to see the appreciation first hand and be apart of the grand opening.

06.01.2022 A timely reminder to have your wheel bearings checked regularly. This customer came very close to loosing a wheel.

02.01.2022 Major overhaul carried out for our local Volunteer Marine Rescue Services ( VMRS ) friends. The Iron Pride boat trailer had a completely new undercarriage, new guide strips, re-wired and freshwater flushing system installed.

01.01.2022 9am this-morning customer calls, "Can you fit a windscreen in our crane on site as soon as possible?" Our response, "Yeah sure". With all hands on deck the crane was ready to return to work by 1:30pm. Minimal down time equals happy customer. Job well done no thanks to our professional team and fully equipped field service truck.
