12.01.2022 Good morning PSC families, UPDATED INFORMATION PLEASE READ BELOW: As we are sure most of you are now aware, Sydney’s Northern Beaches has now been placed on high alert from the increase in cases. The NSW Health Minister has implored Northern Beaches residents to stay at home for the next 72 hours until we know more information.... KINDYGYM AND FITNASTICS WILL BE SHUT AS OF TODAY FOR REST OF 2020. However, our Summer Vacation Care program will be open today as this falls under an essential service. If you are booked in for our vacation care today (18/12) we please ask you do not come to the centre if you do not require our vacation care services urgently. This would mean that parents/guardians who are not considered essential workers (i.e. health workers) are strongly advised to avoid bringing children to vacation care if you can. Regardless of occupation, anyone who has been in a hotspot area listed by NSW Health within the last 48 hours is deemed a close contact and we refuse the right to allow entry if you have been in any of the listed areas. This year we are asking our amazing PSC family to help us give back to three honorable charities that have been selected by our team. How can you help?... The goal is to collect presents for the children, women and men and donate them to the following charities. If any of you could donate any presents for one or more of these charities we would greatly appreciate the help! Mission Australia Ebbs House (deodorant, aftershave, men’s essential hygiene products, socks, hats etc.) Bringa Women and Children’s refuge (hand creams, face and body cream, lip gloss, toys, books etc.) NO PERFUMES Stewart House (books, toys, new clothes, balls etc.) We have been given the date of the 14th of December as the last donation date and any gifts after that date will be accepted for future birthdays and assistance giving by the charities. All presents must be unused items/ brand new items All children presents are not to be wrapped All women’s and men’s presents are preferably not to be wrapped but if so in clear wrapping If you are donating a children’s present please label what age group it is for If you are bringing a present to donate please leave it with the front reception desk (located to the right of the main entrance). 06.01.2022 UPDATE 20.12 6:50PM Dear valued Pittwater Sports Centre customer, As you are no doubt aware the Northern Beaches area and residents have been placed into NSW health order lockdown by the state government because of a recent outbreak of the corona virus.... Management of the Pittwater Sports Centre team take these orders very seriously and have taken steps to formally close the Pittwater sports centre as of 19th of December until further notice. We understand that some of you have enrolled and paid for your child in our Holiday program between the dates of the 21st 23rd of December. All parents/guardians who had children enrolled in our Holiday Workshops across these dates have received an email. Beachlife Physio will remain open for appointments only regarding essential medical services. We at the Pittwater sports centre take your health and your child’s health very seriously and because of this we have not taken this decision lightly. We will be maintaining a staff presence until the 23rd of December so if you wish to discuss further regarding Holiday Workshop enquires please contact our program office on 9913 7421.
