21.01.2022 Don’t forget Squad starts back this week starting tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday mornings at 6am. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons 4:30pm.

21.01.2022 Squads are back!!! Starting back on the 6th of October. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon from 4:30pm until 5:30pm as well Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6am. We have monthly passes and 10 visit passes available. Contact us to book in or wanting more information. Our teachers joined our Oakey team today for a fun day of learning.

We appreciate your patience in a very busy time. It was also great seeing old and new faces. Still time to book in but get in quick we are filling up fast with exceeding well over the number of families we had originally planned for. ... Also starting tomorrow morning at 6am we are adding an extra squad session with Esther!!! Now we have a total of 7 sessions a week!!!

Also month memberships will roll over going by your date of purchase as well. So know need to worry if yours has expired with this week to go. So make the most out of this week!!!

By the age of 12 children should be able to achieve the following national benchmark: - 50m freestyle - 50m backstroke... - 25m survival stroke - 25m breaststroke Water safety is a skill for life! Please remember if you child over 12 comes by themselves they will need to know an email and contact number or they will unfortunately not be allowed in without these details due to our COVID sign in. 13.01.2022 A big congratulations to our amazing Miss Sue who was nominated for the Teacher of Excellence Award with Austswim. Very well deserved!!! Sue lives and breaths for the water, our centre and children. Most weeks she is in the water 20 plus hours and with school weeks up to 40. The most dedicated teacher we know. We are so proud of you and can’t thank you enough for what you do.

09.01.2022 Remember that our Pools operate under the Royal Life Saving Keep Watch Program. With lack of direct supervision by a parent or carer believed to be a contribut...ing factor in 70% of all drowning deaths at public pools, the Keep Watch at Public Pools program aims to eliminate all drowning deaths and reduce the number of near drowning incidents at these facilities. The program targets parents and carers of children to help them understand their responsibilities and the dangers of leaving their children unattended at the pool. Active supervision at public pools consists of four key elements: Be Prepared: Ensure you have everything you need before getting into the water, such as towels and dry clothes. Be Close: Always be within arms' reach of your child. All of Your Attention: Focus all of your attention on your child and get into the pool and talk and play with them. All of the Time: You should never leave your child alone in the water, nor should they be left in the care of an older child or with the assumption that your responsibility diminishes due to the presence of lifeguards.
