11.01.2022 Just like everyone we have been concerned with the current situation around the world with the spread of COVID-19. We understand the current concern within the... community, and the effects self isolation will have on vulnerable people such as the elderly, people with compromised immune systems & those returning from abroad that will be forced to take a 14 day isolation period after being asked to return to Australia by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade. We understand the concern for getting basic supplies such as fresh bread is of utmost importance during self isolation. In the coming days we will be looking at options to deliver basic items such as fresh bread in a non-contact delivery manner to those in our community that may not be able to come to the Bakery to buy their freshly baked goods. This includes looking at the process of making an order online or via Facebook Messenger, taking payment online or over the phone, and delivering to a customers doorstop and alerting the customer that their order has been delivered once we have left the property. In the meantime, the bakery is currently running as usual with plenty of stock. But we want to try and help those that may be left in isolation with basics such as fresh bread. As we develop these temporary delivery plans, we would appreciate sharing this post with the community to get the message out that we will be trying our best to deliver basics in the near future. A delivery charge will be required to help accommodate these temporary services to Westbrook & parts of Toowoomba. If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to message us on Facebook Messenger!
