22.01.2022 Firstly, thank you for your patience whilst we have been working hard behind the scenes to get a plan in place for Pittsworth parkrun. We appreciate that you have wanted to know what is going on...so have we! While parkrun Australia have been promoting November 28 as the parkrun comeback date, this is not the case for us. Pittsworth parkrun will return on December 5. Due to another booking at the Showgrounds that impedes our capacity to operate, we will be a late start. ... Don't cry It is OK! Get yourself into Toowoomba or over to Oakey or Dalby to kick off your Saturday parkrun routine on November 28. You will be welcomed with open arms where ever you choose to parkrun

While we are looking forward to having our first weekend back after two weeks of cancelled runs due to our event location being booked out. However, we are conscious of the escalating demand for things to change rather quickly. 18.01.2022 Congratulations to our most recent 100 clubber Erin kept it under wraps but we were so excited to find out about her achievement and take some time to celebrate her very signification milestone at the end. #neverbeembarrassedtocelebrateamilestone It was great to see Aaron representing the Run Down Under club who were donating money back to parkrun for the provision of defibrillators on Saturday for each club member who did a parkrun SOMEWHERE! It's always great to see you and your brother out in Pittsworth visiting us

12.01.2022 Fun facts Pittsworth parkrun started on 12th July 2014. Since then 965 participants have completed 7,817 parkruns covering a total distance of 39,085 km, including 1,094 new Personal Bests. A total of 202 individuals have volunteered 2,375 times. This morning - 61 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 4 were first timers and 7 recorded new Personal Bests.... Congratulations Pittsworth. 09.01.2022 As Saturday’s just aren’t the same unless you start it with a parkrun..... where will you parkrun tomorrow? Unfortunately due to another event at the Showgrounds, Pittsworth parkrun is cancelled tomorrow (14th March). But there are lots of other parkruns in the area to try out ..... tell us where you are heading......

05.01.2022 Sadly, this coming Saturday, for the first time in 15 years, there will be no parkrun anywhere in the world. We will share more from parkrun Founder Paul Sinton-Hewitt later today. We will get through this, together ... #loveparkrun

03.01.2022 Please note the following dates Pittsworth parkrun will need to cancel due to Showgrounds in use. Saturday 7th March Saturday 14th March Saturday 11th April Saturday 25th April. ... We are thankful we are able to use the Showgrounds most Saturdays throughout the year, but on these dates it is unsafe to share the Showgrounds. Thank you for your understanding. Why not use the opportunity to be a parkrun tourist, you have over 380 locations to choose from!
