Aaron is at the cafe well before sun up every morning baking fresh muffins and scones and he is also single handedly responsible for all the delicious food and sweet treats you eat. 20.01.2022 Due to the intense smoke that has blanketed the nations capital, we have decided to close the shop today, Sunday 5th January. We have discovered this morning that the cafe is full of smoke and just isn’t safe for our staff or our customers. We will be open again on Tuesday 7th. Please listen to the advise of ACT authorities, be alert and stay inside. Take care Canberra!

19.01.2022 From fires to floods, these legends are amazing! This crew has been supporting our cafe since we opened and now it’s our turn to support them. With all the extra pressure being put on them this summer they’ve been very busy so it’s nice to give back, even if it’s just a coffee and muffin!

Included will be a delicious selection of our house baked muffins, plain and chocolate croissants, shortbread, carrot cakes and almond slice all boxed and tied with a beautiful ribbon and card for $35. Numbers are limited so pre-orders are essential to make sure you don’t miss out!! 12.01.2022 Hey friends! 2020 certainly has been a tough trot for many. Bushfires, hailstorms, flash floods and now a virus that has consumed the globe! We have been informed that the rules around indoor dining have changed again. As of 5pm today we are only allowed 1 person per 4 square metres of floor space. That includes our staff. We have had to dramatically reduce our seating capacity so bookings are essential. We are trying to keep up with the ever evolving situation to keep you, ...us, our staff, everyone, safe. Please understand that this is most uncertain times especially for our staff and some supplies are hard to get. 09.01.2022 We’ve loved seeing so many of our regulars again, especially with this beautiful weather we’ve been having. This little one pictured has been coming in since we first opened our doors. We’ve watched her grow up and now she orders for herself! The loyalty and support of our customers has been overwhelming. We appreciate and thank everyone who has encouraged us, ordered take away or just come in just to say hi. It certainly makes us feel very fortunate to be able to keep our doors open through such an uncertain time. THANK YOU

08.01.2022 WE ARE REOPENING 15th APRIL Hi everyone, Just a quick update on Pixie & Bear...... We have been given an opportunity to re-open our doors while still following the guidelines from ACT health and the restrictions put in place by the government to keep our team and the community safe while also providing the delicious food, coffee and service you all know and love. We will be operating from Wednesday-Sunday 7am-2pm doing take aways only. We have a limited menu but all coffee options and your fave juices and smoothies will still be available.
