Its bone dry with intense floral aromas introducing a palate that’s full of sweet cherries, pomegranate and bold, chewy tannins. It’s a red wine made for food and would partner especially well with Meat and mature cheese. Sangiovese is a thin-skinned variety like Nebbiolo. Known for its earthy more than fruity notes, it has attractive mid red colour and can be characterised by high levels of tannin well balanced by acid.
