18.01.2022 URGENT NEWS FLASH REGARDING CORONA VIRUS With the current situation regarding the "Virus" it is imperative that patients know where their dental goods are manufactured!!! Some dental practices outsource manufacturing to China or use Dental labs that OUTSOURCE goods to China to ensure they stay competitive or provide discounts.... If the dentist or lab is outsourcing to China, then the best procedure would be to ensure that all items sent from China are disinfected with a product that is virucidal. Labeling indicating that it has been disinfected should be in place if the package is sent directly to the dental client without opening or repackaging. The importing dentist could open and disinfect the items. Employees should observe the proper infection control protocols, including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment, mask, gloves, protective eye wear, and protective garment. With the current shortage in masks and other essential personal protective equipment, this cannot be guaranteed. Always ensure that you are well informed about the manufacture location and process of dental prosthesis. This includes dentures, splints, mouth-guards, orthodontic appliances, crowns, retainers, basically anything that is inserted into the oral environment.

10.01.2022 Michiel Van den Berg and I saw this patient after her denture reline was bungled by another lab. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do to fix the old one, but we managed to remake her denture (at no cost) and achieve an awesome result.

06.01.2022 After so many rumours, allegations, and people whom I trusted trying their best to ruin a reputation which I have built up over the past 5 years, I am glad to report that things have turned 180 degrees. I have been blessed with so many wonderful people in my life!! When I think back of the total panic and insecurity I felt 3 months ago, things could not be better!!! I do not resent going into work anymore, seeing staff being treated unfairly and the only thing that matters is THE DOLLAR. I have rediscovered my mojo and am loving creating beautiful smiles again (another catchphrase stolen from me) A special shout out to those clients who stuck by me and still believe in me.You all know who you are.
