The slab is cut from an iron bark log 500mm x170mm thick. Out of this hes made the sink pictured below. These particular lines will provide automatic waters to the new dog runs we are building and New troughs for the cattle along the lower paddocks of the property that didnt previously have a water source. This will increase the ability to lock up more paddocks to rest without stock walking all over them. ... Regularly between Phil and myself we try to keep you all up to date on what we are up to. Unfortunately most of our spare time has been consumed feeding/ watering and carting our live stock in this relentless drought (most days until after dark). 01.01.2022 This is a property we were called out to in the Kew area as the previous contractor walked off the job after being paid in full before the job was completed. We had previously quoted this job, but as the owner needed the fence completed quicker than I could get there they opted for another contractor. Ive seen some dodgy things in my time but this is by far one of the worst. ... Posts werent rammed in properly, they were loose, Gates hadnt been hung & the mesh was laying on the ground. This contractor was paid upfront and a difference of $4,500 between my original quote and theirs. So not only did the owner get taken for a ride, she ended up with a fence that wasnt complete and extra cost for us to fix all the mistakes. This post is aimed at making people aware that there are dishonest people out there. You should never pay upfront for a job thats not completed to a standard. Dont get stung on a dodgy job.
