It’s a little known fact that Podiatrists are able to order X-ray and Ultrasound scans of the foot + ankle (when indicated) quickly and easily without the need for a Doctor’s referral. Of course we prioritise including your GP on any scans ordered but we thought you may not realise that your Podiatrist can act as a first point of call for foot issues for both adults + children (just like you would see an Optometrist or Dentist).
