24.01.2022 Department of Education - SCHOOLS TO IMPLEMENT DISTANCING MEASURES media release 15 March 2020 From Monday 16 March 2020, school assemblies and substantial gath...erings will be cancelled, along with all excursions. All major Arts, Sports and Initiative activities and events will temporarily be ceased until further notice. This includes whole school sporting events and inter-school events involving three or more schools. Local Inter-school sport and other activities, may proceed but organisers will be asked to ensure that as far as possible, reasonable precautions are taken. Useful links for families and students in self-isolation can be found here: https://education.nsw.gov.au//curr/continuity-of-education HEALTH ADVICE The best way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is the same way you would protect yourself from catching flu or other respiratory illnesses. 1. Wash your hands Clean your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol. 2. Cough etiquette Cover your sneeze or cough with your elbow or with a tissue (and dispose of it immediately). Avoid close contact with people who are ill. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. 3. Stay home if you are sick If your child is unwell with a respiratory illness they should remain at home until symptoms clear up.

22.01.2022 An update on COVID19 - We are OPEN & fully trained in Infection Control for COVID19! To all our valued parents, students, family & friends, we would like to reassure you that we have been taking preventive measures to protect our students & community. We’ve increased the level of cleanliness throughout our centre by disinfecting all surfaces, ensuring that every student sanitises their hands before & after starting class, and of course, washing hands if they are eating their... snacks during their break time. We’d like to stress & encourage good personal hygiene such as coughing/sneezing into your elbow or tissue, washing your hands for at least 25 seconds & reduce touching your mouth, eyes and nose. Should you be sick, please do not come to class. Don’t stress about it as we can always rearrange for make up classes. If this persists, we’re thinking of moving our classes online. We understand that education is important, but the health of everyone is more important. We ask you to take care & we will continue to keep you up to date. - Phoebe & Kevin

20.01.2022 We are OPEN & we’re more than ready to take our lessons online if need be. To our parents, schools will stay open until the end of Term 1, but you have the option to keep your children at home. If you feel like they need assistance with their learning, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will come up with a strategy & support you in any way that we can. Please bear in mind that these are the facilities that will be closed as of today: ... * pubs, registered and licensed clubs & hotels * Gyms and indoor sporting venues * Cinemas, entertainment venues, casinos and night clubs * Restaurants and cafes BUT takeaway is still available * Religious gatherings, place of worships or funerals To end this post, I’d encourage everyone to support local small businesses. It is clear that they are suffering from this pandemic. We’ve always believed in helping one another & we’re doing our best to support our community. Stay strong because I believe we can get through this.
