24.01.2022 To become "Sugar Savvy" it is important to understand the difference between natural sugar and added sugar in the foods and drink we consume. Understanding how to read labels on the grocery items we are putting in our trolley is essential as it can be confronting how much sugar is hiding in your trolley without realising it! #DentalHealthWeek2020 #Howmuchsugarishidinginyourtrolley

15.01.2022 Last weekend we celebrated 10 amazing years of servicing the community. Our generous boss invited all the staff to Tangalooma for a weekend away. We had the most enjoyable weekend snorkelling, riding ATVs, kayaking, doing a team scavenger hunt and eating a lot of yummy food. The whole team feels so lucky to have such a caring boss who has created a happy and friendly environment for our team to work in. ... We never thought when we first opened that we would grow from a team of 3 to 39! Also a big thank you to our lovely patients who have supported us over the last 10 years and for allowing us to close last Friday and Saturday to celebrate. We look forward to being able to continue to care for your smile in the years to come. Check out our album to see a few happy pics from the weekend

08.01.2022 *Urgent COVID-19 Announcement* As of the 30th March, we have restricted our services to offer emergency and clinically urgent treatment only. To the Plainland Dental Community,... After considering the most recent advice from the Australian Dental Association, we have made the very tough decision to postpone all routine and non-urgent dental treatment for the foreseeable future. If you do have a dental emergency during this time, dont worry, our team is still available to help you. We will continue to make emergency appointments available for our community, as long as we are safely able to do so. Please note that although appointments will be available on a more limited schedule than normal, we will do their absolute best to accommodate your urgent care needs. Rest assured we are adopting every additional precaution advised for our industry, including screening questions prior to appointments and increased environmental cleaning throughout the whole practice. If you do have an appointment in the coming weeks, our team will be getting in touch to postpone your appointment and add you to our priority list so we can reschedule you once restrictions have been lifted. Regardless of further restrictions, our phone lines will remain operational, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm. Please call us if you require any help or if you have any further questions on 5465 7995. We would like to thank you for your incredible patience and support during this time. Without you, we wouldnt have our wonderful practice and we will need your support more than ever when we all emerge on the other side! Stay safe and smile, The Team at Plainland Dental

05.01.2022 The health and safety of our patients and staff are of utmost concern to us. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and our staff are well trained in medical grade infection control procedures. We will not only continue to uphold our high clinical and sanitation standards, but have put in place further measures to minimise the risk and spread to our patients and staff. Our clinics are well stocked with masks and gloves despite global shortages. We are w...ell prepared and will not compromise on our strict hygiene protocols to protect both our patients and our staff. Our staff will continue to regularly disinfect surfaces not only in our treatment rooms but also in our waiting and reception areas. We have also removed magazines and toys from the waiting rooms and will have hand sanitiser readily available for our patients. We ask that if you are feeling unwell, please allow us to reschedule your appointment to a later date. If you have an upcoming appointment you will receive a call from one of our team members who will go through some screening questions with you. If you are unsure whether or not you will need to reschedule your next dental visit, please give our friendly team a call or email us on [email protected] These measures are in place to protect our patients, staff and community that come into contact with the practice.
