23.01.2022 Deluca set to start work on new Bunnings Warehouse at Plainland Queensland developer Deluca Corporation has confirmed that work is set to get underway on the Bunnings development at Plainland Crossing. The new Bunnings store is expected to be open in the second quarter of 2021.... Bunnings Area Manager Ben Corbin said the new Bunnings store at Plainland represents a significant direct investment in the local community. The new store is expected to provide more than 80 team member jobs for local residents, and we look forward to opening the new store to service customers in the Lockyer Valley region, Ben said. The Bunnings Warehouse site is located on a 2hectare site within the Plainland Crossing commercial precinct, and will have prominent exposure to the Warrego Highway. Plainland Crossing Development Manager Joe Gorman said he was pleased to see works commencing on site. This is great news for Plainland. The commitment by Bunnings really underlines the fact that Plainland is now firmly established as an important hub for business and community activity in the Lockyer Valley. National brands like Bunnings, Aldi, Woolworths, McDonalds, Bridgestone, Coffee Club etc all do extensive research before committing to new locations, and they have all decided that Plainland meets their criteria, Mr Gorman said. Deluca Corporation are also working with the developers of Plainland Crossing on further commercial and retail opportunities within Plainland Crossing.
