We would also like to thank you all for continuing to support our business, we appreciate each and every one of our customers. We hope you all have had and will continue to have pleasant experiences in our store.

22.01.2022 ATTENTION CUSTOMERS Yes, we are open Saturday, the recommendation from the Federal Government is that it is for essential shopping only. We will be operating slightly differently to how we normally do. There will be a security guard on the door to ensure we don’t exceed maximum capacity and the below strict rules must be adhered to: We ask that you please come in groups of no more than two people or you may not be allowed into the store. We ask that only one member per fami...ly come to the store for safety reasons (government recommendation). Coming into the store for general browsing purposes is not recommended, please only come into the store if you know exactly what you need beforehand or have a rough idea. If you are caught talking to or catching up with someone you did not enter the store with at an unsafe distance, you may be asked to seperate or leave. If you are not practicing social distancing, you may be asked to leave. If you are rude to a staff member, the security guard or another customer, you will be asked to leave. Unfortunately, staff may not be able to walk you around the store if you have a list, due to social distancing rules. Please enter the store in the correct direction for the safety of others. Staff members will not be able to handle personal items of customers, such as phones if you have a photo of a product for safety reasons. Unfortunately, we may not be able to take special orders at the counter if there there are too many customers in the store and if it can’t be done in a timely manner. If it is not in stock and there is not enough opportunity to take the order, we ask that you send us an email or come back Tuesday and order it then. With coronavirus restrictions slowly lifting, we have made the decision to discontinue our free delivery service, effective the 1st of June 2020, meaning our last free delivery day will be this Friday the 29th of May. The purpose of the free delivery service was to provide our customers with the opportunity to still purchase from us while being encouraged to stay at home by the government. We believe we have offered a great service to people in extremely difficult circumstances and we thank everyone who took us up on the opportunity to use this service. We apologise if it causes any inconvenience to anyone but we are still offering our paid delivery service and look forward to seeing you all in store. As always, we thank everyone for their support and we encourage people to still practice social distancing in our store.

16.01.2022 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT Given the current situation and in an attempt to minimise face-to-face contact to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Plainland’s Mitre 10 are excited to announce that we are offering FREE delivery to all our DIY customers who spend $30 or more in one transaction, beginning the 30th of March. Simply order and pay prior to delivery over the phone, or via email - [email protected] We will be delivering to certain areas of the Lockyer Valley on scheduled days.... The Schedule is as listed below and is inclusive of these suburbs but not limited to. There will be a bit of flexibility around this but we will be trying to keep to the scheduled days as much as possible. Gas deliveries will still be done on Tuesday’s. Deliveries will be Monday to Friday, excluding weekends. *Free delivery does not apply to account holders and trade customers. *This offer is exclusive to orders over the phone or via email, orders instore will still incur the existing delivery fee for that suburb. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Experience working in a Hardware is highly desirable. - Proven ability to take ownership of the job and tasks, with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills. - Excellent customer relationship management skills with a strong emphasis on customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction and keep customers coming back. - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable. - Forklift Licence and Medium Rigid truck licences are advantageous. - Must be available to work every second weekend. 09.01.2022 We are excited to announce that we are looking to resume our weekend fundraising Sausage Sizzles, beginning on the 27th of February 2021. As a locally owned business, we feel it is important to support local organisations with their fundraising. 03.01.2022 I want to give a big thank you and congratulations to the staff at Plainland's Mitre 10. Without a doubt, they are frontline workers and are doing a magnificent job under difficult circumstances. Customers, please be patient with them as they work through this period. You may not get served as quickly as you like, but you will get served. We are in unprecedented times and we are all trying to navigate through them.

We are always open to criticism as we are constantly looking for ways we can improve and develop as a family owned business.
