24.01.2022 Visited some friends who had me install a movable Tillandsia screen a few years back on a west facing wall - Plants still alive and growing well - I did a quick comparison photo to show how the plants have clumped up - in fact a bit like me - they need a hair cut.

23.01.2022 Second air garden panel of Tillandsias complete today and ready for install next week - size is 1950 x 3.4m for both panels about 6.6 sqm Unlike vertical garden...s air gardens using tillandsia plants need no watering system or root medium - the weight works out to about 7.5kg/sqm including plants and infrastructure as opposed to about 100kg/sqm for a reticulated vertical garden. 19.01.2022 Over the past few years my work has moved to create art works that are living and active in the environment - East Melbourne Tillandsia wall install stage 1 yesterday - wall faces west and will mitigate heat on the wall which has been recorded over 70C on a 38c day.
