22.01.2022 WE HAVE CHANGED OUR LOCATION! We first became involved in LED Lighting in 2007 after a trip to Europe and saw the advances being made with LEDs in residential and marine applications. As LEDs were in their infancy at the time, we progressed on a steep learning curve in regard to input currents, thermal conductivity, LED chip quality and Australian Compliance issues. After commencing operations on the Sunshine Coast, our business moved to Brisbane with a shop in Woolloongabb...a 6 years ago. The lease was concluded in May 2018 and we needed to make a decision as to where to relocate. As I live on the Sunshine Coast, I decided to move the business back here and commenced operations here in June 2018. Our customers have been varied from residential to builders, electricians, museums, retail shops, commercial buildings, cinemas etc, not only in Queensland but throughout Australia. While we specialise in LED Strip, LED Neon and LED Garden Lighting, we have access to most of the major lighting distributors here in Australia who provide us with both quality commercial and residential lighting. LED Lighting comes in all different qualities and pricing, and it really is a case of you pay for what you get. If you require quality lights that are compliant for Australia, and covered by Australian Warranty, then talk to us. Please note that if you purchase lights directly from overseas, there is a 99% chance they are not compliant for Australia. These cheap lights have been known to cause fires and cause electrocution. If a fire or personal injury is caused by these cheap LED Lights, your Insurance company can and most likely will refuse your insurance claim. So don't risk it! 19.01.2022 Custom laser cut projects and panels can be used for wall partitions, wall art, back-lit screens, room dividers, signage, window coverings, skylights and other products. 05.01.2022 WHAT AFFECTS THE FINAL PRICE OF AN LED LAMP? There is no disputing that LEDS deliver high performance and low maintenance lighting solutions to both the residential and commercial markets. Each day we have a number of enquiries asking why there is so much discrepancy in the cost of similar looking LED Lights. Listed below are the most common areas of difference. Quality of the chip used. If you want a good quality light with good performance that will last the distance use ...of a quality chip is important. This component actually generates the light inside the bulb, allowing the chip to have the biggest impact on the overall cost of the product. High quality chips are created to maintain a specific standard of light output as well as colour consistency. Additionally, manufacturers have to create chips that also fall into specific colour temperatures as well. Some products are so low quality that they don’t even use lighting chips; instead they utilize low-power chips better suited for other purposes. The higher the chip quality, the higher the overall price points. Use of quality internal components, including the driver, which helps convert light and keeps the voltage flowing. The heat management system. Nothing kills off an LED as quick as heat build up in the lamp. Maintaining the correct temperature in the lamp is critical to long life. The quality of the lens which is tasked with focusing and distributing the light uniformly. The cost of laboratory testing the unit to Australian Standards. All these things affect the final price of the LED light. So if you purchase a $6.00 light bulb of E bay direct from China or other OS countries, you are getting what you pay for, a piece of rubbish that will not last the distance, has no warranty and more importantly doesn’t comply to Australian Standards, which means if you have a fire or someone gets electrocuted or injured, you are 99% assured that you will not be covered by your insurance. Locally, if an LED down light sells for $39.95 in one store, and a similar looking item is available somewhere else for $19.95, you are not buying the same quality product, but an inferior one! So if you want a quality lamp that complies with the standards, and carries a warranty from a local distributor, be prepared to pay a bit more. LED lighting pricing can vary. We specialize in custom strip lighting (with or without aluminium profiles) for commercial, and residential applications, providing custom lighting for office reception areas, kitchens, wardrobes, ceilings, etc. We also specialize in LED Garden lighting with Garden stake lamps with a 5 year warranty against rust and corrosion, as well as LED Flood Lights, Inground lights, pathlights, step lights etc, as well as solar... garden lighting with a 3 year warranty.
