19.01.2022 A sneak peak at a special exhibition we’ve got coming up in June by a local artist of many talents, including amazing large scale weaved wall art, Darlene Henderson aka instagram.com/darlzthemaker Some of you may remember Darlene and Jade bringing the tunes at our Australia 20/20 Opening (swipe to the last image), and I have a sneaking suspicion we’ll get to enjoy this female guitar duo @callingviolet at Darlene’s Opening, too

18.01.2022 Sad to see the Art Eclectic store in Coffs close its doors next month. They've been stocking and supporting so many local creatives and makers, but very glad to hear they'll still be available online. Help the store and the artists with their beautiful stock in there by picking up a bargain in these last days and supporting local awesomeness. Opposite Rivers in the centre of Coffs.

14.01.2022 Hey art lovers, you guessed it unfortunately the gallery will be CLOSED until further notice. To all the amazing artists we’d lined up each fortnight over the next six months...please standby! In the meantime, use some of that downtime to create The plan is to have our next big group show run alongside the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery's National Archibald Prize exhibition in July/August. We will be celebrating LOCAL FACES, a group exhibition of portraits in any size, sh...ape or form of a local person (mid-north-coast of NSW), including self-portraits. Photography, illustration, painting, digital art, sculpture, and beyond, of you, your neighbour, your postie, your barista, your teacher, we want to encourage a diverse range of portraits, including the artists creating them. Submissions to be emailed to [email protected] with a photo or link to your artwork. Please keep files under 5MB and use "Local Faces Submission" in the subject line with a brief outline about the portrait and yourself. Please tag someone you think should submit a piece. Artists will be notified closer to the exhibition if successful. Since no body knows what the hell is going to happen over the next few months, if we’re still practicing social distancing and isolation by July/Aug, it will affect the amazing launch party we have plannedbut hopefully we can still host the exhibition either way. Our emails and social media will have reduced monitoring during this time, so please be patient with us. We're kind of really excited about this one and hope even in these surreal times we can embrace creativity and not only support but also celebrate our local community *Artwork by Coffs Harbour's Wayne Dejong

04.01.2022 We love our neighbours, The Happy Frog cafe, making it safe and easy to keep supporting local and eat healthy Before you head into Woolies or Coles for groceries or Maccas for a quick take away, these guys have better quality food and it keeps them in business and supports the local produce and products they have. No brainer!!

01.01.2022 Happy Easter Creative Coffs, if you’re stuck at home with the same faces you’ve been looking at nonstop for weeks, why not look at them differently and make some art? Draw them, paint them or morph them in Photoshop! We’re still hoping to showcase a Local Faces portrait group exhibition...we just don’t know when.
