18.01.2022 Weve always been huge fans of Charlie Kaufman here at Planet, and right now weve got two amazing titles related to his latest works. ANTKIND is Charlies first work of literary fiction. Semi-autobiographical, based on the creation of his film Anomalisa, hes described this text himself as completely unable to be a film. It is an absolute must read for fans of his films and/or lovers of unique fiction. Im Thinking of Ending Things by Ian Reid is the book that Charlies latest film, out soon, is based on. The book itself one could almost call Kaufman-esque, so the movie is a seeming match made in heaven. After reading the book, we are so excited to see what Kaufman does with it.

I dont think any other type of book is as good as a distraction. The whole story is self-contained in its own world. Adrian Mckinty is one of Australias (since 2008 at least!) premier crime writers, and this an absolutely terrifying example of why! In "The Chain" the main character has to find out exactly how far she is willing to go for her child, even if it means endangering someone elses.
