24.01.2022 This is a home we did for the owner Mrs Merilyn P. The home was origanilly owned by the movie star "James Mayson" It over looks the sydney harbour bridge. Mrs P wanted to have her floors prepared before xmax so that she could entertain her family. We were hired to remove the existing carpet and sand the floor. Well! when we took the carpet off, it was a mess underneath, but i could see a slight resembelence of a boarder. After we sanded it, the results were stunning and we discovered a special effect that was designed and built into the floor by Mr Maysons builder. Have a look and see what awesome transformation we achieved.

22.01.2022 This is a Oak floor we are in the process of completing for "Home Impact". They are a construction company that operates near the city. On this particular project, we installed a plastic sheet first as a moisture barrier, then we installed and laser leveled hardwood battens over the concrete, and then secret nailed the Oak floor directly over the battens.

21.01.2022 Our client wanted to convert her small concrete deck into a area where her husband and herself could relax and watch the world go by. I think this simple build was not only fun to do, but came up a treat.

20.01.2022 This is a outstanding example what can be done with a old Pine floor. Our client really wanted to do something special with her floor. It was rented out for years, and she decided that she wanted to move it. A classic heritage 2 story home in Paddington. It was a task and a half to hand scrape back the crusty old stairs, a few board repairs, a lot of love and dedication and a well chosen stain created a magnificent floor that the client was over the moon with gratitude. Our senior floor sander Lenny and his offsider did a Stirling job.

16.01.2022 This small project was quiet transforming. The client had a small unit in Kings cross and was tired of the carpet. So he got us to install Prefinished Oak and placed it in as a "Herringbone Pattern". It came out a treat. The owner loved the end result.

15.01.2022 This is a floor we built for a family at Engadine. They spend years deciding and saving for just the right floor. Most of the existing floor was a mixture of Cypress pine and tiles. We then Installed directly over the cypress pine and the existing tiles. The timber was supplied by Hurfords Timber. There were two sets of steps that were originally tiled. We assembled new treads and risers and directly adhered them to the existing steps Our machine operators then finely sanded the new timber floor and applied 3 x coats of a water based polyurethane. Awesome results. Maria and her husband was so excited to see the long awaited dream come true. The whole project was about 130m2 and took about 2 weeks.

14.01.2022 Cypress Pine is a very common timber in NSW, it is a fragile timber, but its one of the timbers that resist Termite. They polish up very well.

05.01.2022 This is a project we just finished for a young couple in Oyster Bay NSW. They spent a fortune on renovating the house, but could not afford to get the stairs done untill a bit later. Cassandie rang me and asked if we could overlay her basic stairs. She was quite strict in her requirements.

04.01.2022 I am going to brag a bit with this one. Our client delivered to us a whole bunch of crusty aged spotted gum he brought from Ironwood in Rozelle. He wanted to surprise his daughter with a special floor. So he gave me the instructions, and then on on weekend, here i am stuck behind my drop saw and other machinery, cutting up a whole stack of 400mm long x 80mm wide sticks. A week later, we took them up into her Unit in Leichardt and then set about assembling them. I then asked my best floor sander to fine sand them and apply a water-base satin polyurethane. Well the photos speak for them selves. Nice Huh!! Oh, by the way, the daughter loves it

02.01.2022 This new home belongs to a very well known Surgeon, It seemed like the project was talking forever to complete. I wish i had taken photos of the floor in its original state. The floor is brand new and was laid by contractors who said they knew what they were doing. They stuffed it up big time. The owner reached out through the Hi Pages. We responded and after the owner qualifying our knowledge and ability set up a site meeting to assess the task. I knew we could do the task.... I just did not realise what the next 6 weeks would unfold. When we started to sand the floor, it was as hard as diamonds, it took 3-4 times longer to do. But we were determined to succeed. Horrible gaps started to appear, the original installation was a mess. But the photos show the end result. Im sad that i did not get photos of the floor before we completed it. 01.01.2022 We are pretty famous when it comes to building new treads and risers over old MDF or concrete stairs. We have a few secrets up our sleeves when it comes to this type of process. Check out the round D-Tread in some of the photos. That is solid 19mm thick Timber, no Veneer used here. It is all solid wood. Its brilliant and is classic. I know of no other company like ours that can do it. We do it with every D-Tread that our client requests. In on photo you will see a square starter tread, we then converted it into a D-Tread. Very nice touch.

01.01.2022 This is a project we did for Ichor constructions. We were asked to refurbish the ballroom timber floor at the Mt Victoria railway station in the ble mountains. Middle of winter. Stunning results.
