25.01.2022 spring tips If you havnt allready, start thinking about renewing the mulch in your garden and applying a wetting agent on the soil before the hot weather comes in and the rains cease for the season. Prune back Winter flowering plants that have finished producing flowers for the season.... Plant herbs such as oregano, parsley, mint, coriander! Our favourite time of year to be outdoors with some spring sun just around the corner!

25.01.2022 While were all spending more time at home, many people are spending more time looking after their plants which is great! As the weather is cooling down though, our plant care habits may need to be adjusted such as reducing the frequency were watering. The 2 most common mistakes with plant care (especially with indoor plants) is over watering and over fertilising. Signs of over-watering include browning/yellowing of leaf tips or whole leaves, blistering or brown/yello...w spotting on leaves, leaf drop, root rot or other fungal disease symptoms. Diagnosing plant problems can be tricky and every plant and has different needs so if in doubt feel free to ask our in house horticulturalist! At PlanterCraft, all of the planters in the Lechuza range come with a water level indicator so you know when to water and how much. We recommend not to fill right up to the max line shown, and to wait until the water level indicator is low or empty before topping up again. Happy planting

Use a good quality potting mix (if in doubt, look for the Australian Standard red ticks on the bag) and if you can, move your plants into a larger pot to give them more room to grow.
