24.01.2022 Double trellis of SVO 215, Plant Nutrition Australia has developed a method of increasing the chance of tomato plants developing double or triple trellising.

22.01.2022 How many harvests of premium grade zucchini can you get per plant? This one has had 13 and still counting

22.01.2022 Nice job Bowen team https://www.facebook.com/642528925896288/posts/1628530020629502/

22.01.2022 For those people in the Whitsundays that are now facing this time without work, Bowen's primary producers will need you. Harvest time is coming in May and they will need pickers and packers. Bowen Gumlu growers association and council are working on a register for people looking for farm work, for more information please contact the Bowen Gumlu growers association or keep and eye on their website for updates.

21.01.2022 Looking for an Agronomist with 13 years experience and can get the most from your crop, look no further than Plant Nutrition Australia. Call Scott Underdown on 0439 494 411 to arrange a first meeting

21.01.2022 I am sorry for the position that a lot of the people of the Whitsundays has found themselves but I need to stress that I am not hiring. My previous post was directing people to possible opportunities as the tomato season is fast approaching but I am not offering directly. Below is a statement from the Bowen Gumlu growers association which you should read. Due to the high demand I will not be responding to work requests as I can not help, please direct you enquiries to the rig...ht people. Stay safe and good luck Seasonal farm jobs in the Bowen Gumlu region will not commence until mid to late May 2020. The horticulture industry is currently reviewing all of the information in response to the Corona Virus health emergency and individual employers will update workers as soon as job details are available. In these challenging times BGGA will do its best to connect growers to the seasonal workforce in our region. Due to the high demand, if you are looking for farm work please utilise existing job search services, your Job Network Provider or the jobsearch.gov.au website.

19.01.2022 Always a good feeling to load a bush up to maximum capacity needless to say the farmer is happy

19.01.2022 Looking to increase your crop yields, let Plant Nutrition Australia show you how. This picture shows an occurrence of double trellising in tomatoes doubling the yield from this flower raceme. Plant Nutrition Australia has developed methods to increase the chances of this, call to find out how we can help you. 0439 494 411

18.01.2022 Pretty good size from top to bottom on these SVO215. These have been harvested 5 times already. Plant Nutrition Australia can help you achieve this as well, give us a call.

16.01.2022 You may think that flavour and colour comes from staying on the plant for longer, it's actually from balancing your trace elements. Both these cherry tomatoes were picked green

15.01.2022 To all the Sugarcane farmers, this is worth attending if you have the time. It's hard to invest in an idea if you don't have a good understanding of how it works

14.01.2022 Small crops aren't the only crops we deal with, this spectacular crop of soy beans growing in the Burdekin may push north of 6t/ha. Nitrogen levels in the leaves are close to 7% which is a good indicator that the plants have the energy to hold most of the beans

14.01.2022 Full flower on Honey Gold mango trees with no use of coal tar, just good nutrition. Flower panicle is longer and the trees look healthy to support the coming fruit load

13.01.2022 Something to consider if it works, inject everything from insecticide to fertiliser while working your ground with reduced impact

13.01.2022 Definitely been a crazy start to the year but I look forward to a great start to the growing season. Please contact me if you are looking for a plant nutrition agronomist, always happy to get the most out of your crop
