20.01.2022 WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE POTS? Here’s just a taste of where your pots go... Plants can go through many phases before reaching their final long term position. Ours often start in seedling trays in the greenhouse, then graduate through 3 pot sizes before finally going into the ground or a permanent large pot. ... We need lots and lots of pots of heaps of sizes to accomodate so many consistently transitioning plants. Even in a single season, one individual pot can be used for a number of plants as they sometimes outgrow it in a few weeks and are re-potted again. Why not go straight to a big pot? Although this would be less labour intensive, the plants don’t always benefit from too much space, it can stunt growth. It is also less water and space efficient. So your pots go through many lives here, and due to being in use at most times, they maintain good condition and can be used for years. So to those who have provided pots to our little depot, we thank you! And for those that wonder what we do, I hope this gives you an insight to the potential future of your humble plant pot
