24.01.2022 POSITIONS VACANT! Plants Direct NT is currently looking for a Nursery Assistants to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be friendly, hard working, reliable and able to work unsupervised. As a member of the Nursery team, the role will include (but not be limited to):... *Plant maintenance - including weeding, fertilising, watering plants etc *Potting up, propagating and pruning plants *Serving customers *Picking, dressing and packing orders The successful applicants must have the following: *The ability to learn about different types of plants, including where they grow best and how to care for them *Practical skills, and adaptability to multiple tasks *Customer service skills *Ability to work as part of a team and also un-supervised *Ability to work outside in the tropical climate of Darwin. *Good communication skills *Physical fitness - the job involves lifting, carrying and digging *A love of plants and not afraid to get their hands dirty!
