25.01.2022 We've just put out a brand new plant for sale - Ozothamnus floribundus. It's a small shrub to about a metre that grows only on one embankment south of Cygnet, and is one of Tasmania's rarest plants. It was only discovered a few years ago, and there are only about 30 plants in the wild. It's common name, Flowery Everlastingbush, says it all. It seems to be hardy and fast growing in cultivation. 22.01.2022 Lasiopetalum macrophyllum (shrubby velvet bush) is out in flower now. This prostrate plant likes well draining soil and a bit of shade ideally. We have lots of anecdotal evidence that it doesn't get browsed by local wildlife!
