22.01.2022 Thank you to those that joined us at the repair cafe Saturday morning!! We had lots of new faces at the sewing table. In between mending items there was a lot of Boomerang Bag activity happening.

21.01.2022 The Vic Bag Ban begins 1 November and will apply to plastic shopping bags with handles and a thickness of 35 micrometers or less at any part of the bag, includi...ng those that are made from degradable, biodegradable and compostable plastic. ALL retailers including supermarkets, greengrocers, bakeries, pharmacies, clothes stores, restaurants, cafes, markets, butchers, food outlets, and many more will not be allowed to provide banned bags to customers, whether new or reused. It will also be an offence for a retailer, wholesaler, or a manufacturer of plastic bags to provide false or misleading information about a plastic bag. 01.01.2022 Moama Anglican Grammar Parents and Friends Group has created another bags! These will be placed in the library to be decorated by students as part of Plastic Free July and then be used in the uniform shop. Thank you

01.01.2022 Firstly I hope you are all safe and well!! HELP NEEDED Boomerang Bags EM are excited to be able to give a small token of gratitude to our health heros, through our bags. The bags will be used to put work clothes in after a shift and can then go straight in the hot wash with the clothes. ... If you would like a sewing pack I have bundles precut with instruction sheets ready to go. If you are a seasoned Boomerang Bagger I have LOTS of material and cotton I can drop at your door steps. Please PM this page with what help you can offer and and an address to drop fabric: - cut - iron - sewing (standard machine) - sewing (overlocker) Please note all fabric delivered has been locked safely in my garage for months and only handled with my pre scrubbed hands. All bags will be hot washed prior to be being passed on to the hospital. NO BAGS ARE TO BE DROPPED TO THE HOSPITAL for the safety of yourselves and staff. Thanks all!
