About the position: Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the position will provide general support to the maintenance team and logistics functions of the business. This is a great opportunity to gain skills, become a valued member of a committed and supportive small team, and grow with the business. ... The position will be based at our Dysart maintenance workshop but with travel required. Travel will typically be between our mine site operations across the Bowen Basin, our emulsion plant at Moranbah and our suppliers, to assist with maintenance activities or transport parts, equipment, vehicles or products as required. Ideally the role will suit candidates living in the Dysart region (or willing to relocate), providing you with the opportunity to work locally and return home most nights. The position will be employed on Monday to Friday basis, but with some flexibility on weekends if required. About you: The role requires a candidate a with strong mechanical aptitude and a Heavy Vehicle Licence. Prior experience in handling or transporting dangerous goods is preferred. But it will be your positive attitude, willingness and capability to learn, ability to follow directions and reliability that will set you apart. Due to the nature of our industry, you will also need to be able to obtain and maintain relevant clearances, such as an explosives security clearance and coal mining industry medical.
