14.01.2022 Hey guys, Platinum Garage would like to inform everyone that we are still trading our normal business hours throughout this challenging time, and welcome you to book your vehicle in for any mechanical repairs or log book services as necessary. However, for the safety of you, your families, the community and our staff members, we have introduced new policies and procedures to prevent the spread of the dreaded COVID-19 virus. This includes:... -Hand sanitising station is offered at the front counter for use upon arrival and when leaving. -All staff have successfully carried out the Australian Government Department of Health COVID-19 infection control training. -Complimentary disinfection will be run through the air conditioning system of your vehicle to neutralise and kill airborne germs and viruses. -Disposable gloves are worn for all road tests along with throw away seat covers and floor mats to prevent any human contact with the interior surfaces of the vehicle. -Our waiting area has been restricted for a maximum of only 2 persons at this stage as we want to enforce safe social distancing. Additional services offered: -Complimentary collection and drop off of your vehicle to customers in the local area to avoid you leaving your house. -Vehicles can be dropped off with keys left in a secure location to avoid contact with any staff members. -Contactless and card payments are preferred. As always, we are committed to providing the same service, care and quality of work you expect from Platinum Garage, with the added confidence that we are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. 07.01.2022 This is what we come back for. The adrenaline, the burnout and that time slip. An amazing night at the creek last night as our team raced the turbo b18c Integra built by the Platinum boys, fabbed by AMC and tuned by BYP. Currently on 330kw on 22psi boost, we set out to put the Integra into the 10s territory... with a best time of 11.0s @ 131 Mph at a lazy 1.9 60-foot. Even though we didn't achieve it last night, the improvement in time will only make us fight harder to get t...here.
