25.01.2022 ALL TENNIS RESUMES FROM MONDAY 13th JULY All group lessons, cardio tennis, hot shots, squads and private lessons will resume from Monday 13th July. We do have guidelines to follow to keep the community safe and we do thank you for patience during this time.... We are excited to see so many happy faces getting back on the tennis court.

21.01.2022 COVID-19 Safety for Tennis With the Governments ban on mass gatherings of more than 500 people, Tennis Australia has issued a response to ban all tennis events, (tournaments, fixtures etc) This ban DOES NOT extend to coaching or in-house events that meet the governments guidelines... Platinum Tennis have implemented, to all our staff, safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the continued safe delivery of all our tennis activities, at all our venues We take great responsibility in the safety of all our students and their families Below are a few things that you can all help with 1. If your child is sick; keep them at home. Simply call the shop to let us know you can't make the lesson and you will receive a make-up lesson credit 2. Follow all instructions given by the coach in regards to student interactions.. please make sure you child is aware of this 3, Avoid physical contact with the coaches and other students as much as possible 4. Wash you hands regularly (as per medical advice in general) 5. Do not share drink bottles with anyone The reports are that Covid-19 cannot survive in direct sunlight and above 26 degrees... so looks like tennis is a great option We look forward to continuing to deliver high-quality tennis sessions in a safe and fun environment for everyone All lessons, squads, hitting sessions, Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow Comps, are as per regular schedule. Platinum Tennis takes this virus seriously and all staff have been given direction on keeping everyone safe during tennis at all our venues We will be ensuring the following rules apply to our coaching program - Only 6 children per tennis court - You must bring your own racquet - You must bring your own water bottle. Please note We will be turning off the water fountain - Do not share your water bottle - Platinum Tennis Staff will he wiping down entry points and doors after each coaching session. 12.01.2022 Hi All, It is with great sadness and a lot of thought due to the latest up dated Federal Government restriction on Covid-19 we would like to inform you all that Platinum Tennis and the Hinterland Tennis Club will be forced to severely adjust its trading until further notice as of 26th March 2020 (effective immediately). Please note we are are not completely shut our changes are detailed below. ... The Hinterland Tennis Club and Platinum Tennis Coaching fall under the framework of closures released by the Federal Government of; Community and recreation centre Community clubs and Hubs We are forced to cease the below; All Group Tennis Coaching All fixture programs All social programs We will remain open for the following; Private Coaching (1 on 1 tuition) Semi Private Coaching(Max 3 people per coach All Court Hire (Member and non-member) All group lessons from today the 26th March will be credited off your next bill. All make up lessons owing will be able to be completed once we are able to re open. We will hold additional lessons on weekends to ease the backlog with such inclement weather this term. This was an extremely tough decision to make as we understand the importance of the community keeping fit and active however our number one priority is to keep the community safe and healthy. We do want to see you all on the Tennis court after this is all over and one guarantee we can make is that Platinum Tennis and the Hinterland Tennis club will be still here after this all settles. Please also note the below safety pre cautions are being taken. 1. Court gates will be left open (no touching to open and close) 2. Only ball tubes are allowed to pick up balls. Ball tubes will be sanitised after each lesson. 3. Coach is only person allowed to touch the balls. 4. Social distancing. Players will stay down the same end of the court for the whole session. 03.01.2022 They brought balloons to a school. One was given to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professors the...n mixed all the balloons. The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point the professors told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes everyone had their own balloon. The professors said to the students: These ballons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness... we'll find ours too." Anon
