14.01.2022 Darkness has descended over Batemans Bay. The visibility of Bateman Bay on the NSW south coast is deteriorating significantly. ABC reporter Liv Casben, who was ...holidaying there before the bushfires broke out. The ABC has confirmed at least two homes in the Runnyford area have been destroyed by the fire that is now impacting Batemans Bay. 03.01.2022 After a more refined physical measuring of our dining foot print in Bat Country it turns out legally we are only allowed 15 seated (only) customers at any one... time, not the 20 as first thought. This is to allow the social distancing of 4 square metres per person within our venue. This is the law & restrictions that are in place for your safety and that of our staff. We please ask you for your patience when coming to visit us & complete our required log book upon being given entry. Please wait at the door to be greeted, do not walk into the venue until you have been invited. Upon being invited in you must record your name & email or phone number in the log book. You will then be allocated a seat within safe distancing from other patrons where it is table service for your stay. Please do not try and order at the bar. This is not allowed in these times. We are also putting a 90 minute time limit on tables to keep things rolling in an attempt to give as many of our loyal customers a taste of being back inside Bat Country with us!
