22.01.2022 [ABC NEWS] Homes in south-east Queensland pummelled by enormous hailstones on Saturday have been deemed "unliveable" with insurers warning residents to beware of "disaster chasers" preying on vulnerable households. The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) said more than 8,500 claims had been lodged, with estimated insurance losses exceeding $110 million. The repair bill from the destructive superstorm that pummeled Queensland over the weekend could top a staggering $1 billion. Severe thunderstorms hammered the state’s southeast on Saturday, dropping tennis ball-sized hail on some areas.... 12.01.2022 EVERYONE’S heard of the calm before the storm. But it’s nice to know there can also be calm after the storm. At least that’s how Marcia Wilkinson feels after her 2015 blue Toyota Corolla Hatchback was damaged on October 31 last year but then underwent a seamless repair process through Platinum Hail Management Solutions (PHMS). He is the last person to sight customer vehicles before they are handed over. David has previously owned an auto mechanic’s workshop and has been working in the industry for a very long time.

04.01.2022 Richlands Video - Watch Now! It has been an extremely busy hail season for our entire team here at Platinum Hail Management Solutions. Only a week after the October storms in 2020 we established our Emergency Hail Catastrophe Repair Centre at Richlands. It was the largest of our facilities at 12,000 square metres, with a full team to match. A few achievements to mention:... - Due to the size of the storm, we set up in 3 locations to manage the wide area affected by the storm front. - We processed an incredible amount of claims for private cars. - Our PHMS Richlands facility was the largest with 4 dedicated Spray Booths and 8 Specialist Spray Painters, 5 Specialist Panel Beaters, 11 Specialist Paintless Dent Repair Technicians, and a large support staff.
