22.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that Platinum Immigration is celebrating its 1st birthday. We wonder where we would be today had we known what 2020 had in store. Our first 3 months were all we had hoped then Covid arrived bringing with it a fear and sadness that was overwhelming. The industry shut down and our international borders closed indefinitely. When you start a business that involves international hospitality recruitment, this does not bode well. However, here we are and t...hat would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our clients, candidates and business partners in Australia and around the world. For that, we are grateful and truly thankful. The challenges this year are not over and 2021 will bring a host of new ones. We remain cautiously optimistic yet excited about what that might look like. The recovery for our industry will be slow and painstaking but if there's one thing three decades in hospitality has taught us, it’s that hard work is all we know. That is what will get us through. Many of our projects particularly overseas were shelved this year but our planning for 2021 is in full swing. To everyone in Hospitality, we hope that you can get back on your feet as quickly as possible and bring the industry we all hold so dear back to life.

13.01.2022 Every case we work on is important but this is one has been very special to us and 2 years in the making. Kanishka's process started at the end of 2019. Since then he's had multiple interviews, withdrawn offers, job losses and separation from his family all due to Covid. Today, we are absolutely delighted to announce he has finally arrived in Melbourne!... This is a testament to his patience, dedication and unwavering determination to complete what he started. At no time did he question his decision to stay the course, and in fact it only strengthened his resolve. His wife Tisani has also just given birth to their first child only a few weeks ago! We are thrilled and cannot thank you enough for the part you both played in this extremely long and exhaustive process. 04.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT! Its been a long wait but some more great news!! Australia has today announced fully vaccinated visa holders will be allowed entry into Australia from December 1, 2021 without needing a travel exemption.... You will still require proof of vaccination and a negative PCR test no more than 72 hours pre departure. This will include skilled, student, humanitarian, provisional and working holiday visa holders. (not visitors visas) You will still need to comply with the quarantine requirements in the state or territory of your arrival, and any other state or territories that you plan to travel to. Restrictions may change at short notice. Travellers returning to Australia may enter NSW, VIC and the ACT without quarantining.
