20.01.2022 After an extremely busy couple of days interstate - last job on the books for the week was inspection to some vacuum pods on this old Biesse Rover B. The customer was not happy with the suction and with some tutelage we were able to improve their vacuum. Any pod which is missing the foam insert, damage or plain not put in right will cause poor suction. We all make mistakes and now the operators know what to look for. Those of you who still have issues, Platinum Machinery can supply rubber gaskets, foam insert material, ball valves, filter elements and replacement pods not just for Biesse's but also Homag & SCM. 12.01.2022 *** Check your insurance policies *** One of our customers recently ran into issues with the SPP100 Controller on their SI350E panel saw. Unfortunately at significant out of pocket expense, the controller had to be replaced. The machine after some calibration and setup is now up and running at full capacity again. Check your insurance policy, speak to your brokers, banks, whoever your insurance is through... Make sure you are covered for "fusion / electrical equipment damage". For the cost of it being added to your premium it is always recommended for you to have - from a tehnicians point of view. Just think if it was some crazy electrical part on your fancy cnc or edgebander, it can save you money and or time in the long run.

We have partners in dust extraction, compressed air, electricans to name a few so it truly makes it easy on you! Today we spent some time with one of Brisbane's private school's in the early stages of moving premises. Over 20 machines to move - looks like we're going to be busy!
