22.01.2022 Soooo much honey. This hive was short x5 frames and the higher honey comb is a direct result. Without frames it becomes very honey messy to cut out and fix but it was good fun. Hows that lid. They were gagging for more space . Not much brood at all (baby bee eggs) #backyardbees #australianbees

17.01.2022 What’s small, black and yellow and can make any human run very fast.....even an old geezer like me could push the record for the 100meter dash Wasps! The weather is causing havoc for the birds and the bees and the wasps are also not sure what’s going on. Scored two succesfull stings while sorting these ladies out. Very aggressive they were .

17.01.2022 Listen with volume. It is awesomeI had x5 frames to feed the bees . Mainly pollen filled frames so it was easier to feed the bees then to claim the honey. It was very tasty mind you. Put out about 6:30pm and the sound is awesome! They will be going berserk in the morning so watch this space #backyardbees #feedthebees

07.01.2022 Starlings. Likely more probmatic then feral cats.. their droppings effect more water supply then one would think. Starlings in these numbers highlight how epic their breeding is and how much food they take from other birds. Still quite an amazing thing to witness #pestbirds #starlings
