24.01.2022 Perth housing market reveals positive signs in September quarter The Perth property market continued to show positive signs in both the rental and sales market during the September 2020 quarter. From sales perspective, the median house sale price, sales volumes and listings for sale all recorded an increase. Perth’s median house sale price rose 0.3% to $477,000 in the September quarter, while the median unit price fell 1.1% to $370,000. ... There were 9,599 properties sold during the quarter, which is 21% more than the June quarter and seven per cent more than the September 2019 quarter. There were 10,540 properties for sale on reiwa.com at the end of the quarter, which is up 2% on the June quarter. It took sellers a median of 28 days to sell their property, which is 21 days quicker than the June quarter and 46 days quicker than the September 2019 quarter. 19.01.2022 Units flying off the shelves as buyer market tightens Perth’s unit market has been jolted awake following a king-sized jump in sales that has owners bracing for some price gains. Though speedy house sales have hogged the spotlight during Perth’s property renaissance, REIWA said unit sellers were celebrating a 58% jump for the March 2021 quarter, compared to the number sold in the same period last year.... Unit purchase growth outpaced house sales during the March quarter. Sales were also 25 days quicker for units compared to the 2020 quarter. 19.01.2022 Growth seen in all aspects of market!! Sales activity in the Perth metropolitan region increased in July, with REIWA data showing volumes were up 68 percent compared to the COVID-19 low in April across both dwellings and land sales. Land saw a 121 per cent increase in sales compared to April, while houses and units enjoyed a 58 per cent and 51 per cent uptick in sales.... Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA also noted a massive increase in land sales on the back of state and federal government incentives, with 3322 new lots sold in the June 2020 quarter compared with 1999 in the previous quarter a 126 per cent increase. 18.01.2022 House and unit sale prices continue to grow in Perth New data shows that despite the public holidays and COVID-19 lockdown in April, Perth’s median house and unit sale prices continued to increase throughout the month. The data revealed that for the first time since December 2018, Perth’s median house sale price is back above $500,000, coming in at $508,000 for the month up from $495,000 in March.... The median unit sale price also increased to $390,000 during April, from $385,000 in March. The strong buyer demand was further highlighted by how quickly properties sold during the month, with the median time to sell dropping to 13 days.
