23.01.2022 Following yesterdays announcement of Phase 3 of eased restrictions coming into effect on 6 June 2020 (and contact sports and training being allowed from this date) we have started planning a staged return of our classes. As it is a long weekend we cant give you firm dates or venues yet as we are unable to get in contact with our venue providers until Tuesday. Please stay tuned for further updates!... Meanwhile, remember we have the following classes scheduled: - the remaining classes in our 4 week online block Thursday 4 June and Saturday 6 June - our new kids online classes (5 week block commencing Tuesday 2 June 5pm).

22.01.2022 Platinum Taekwon-Dos first week back in the dojang Monday 8 June, Thursday 11 June and Saturday 13 June plus our online classes Tuesday and Saturday!! Thanks for your support and training effort as we re-opened our doors, its been an action packed week. Great to see everyone and we are looking forward to another big week starting Monday .

20.01.2022 Today is the last day of The Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health via Headspace. Awesome effort by all our Team Platinum members. 18.01.2022 We are running a food drive to provide some support to Platinum Taekwon-Do families who are experiencing financial hardship at this time. If you are happy to contribute some food items please pass them to your instructor and we will gift them to our families to help out a bit. Non-perishable staple food items would be great. 09.01.2022 Whilst we had hoped to have confirmation of the first stage of our dojang classes by now the flow of information to us has been slow so in the meantime we will keep you up to date with what we can control: 1. Thursday 4 June and Saturday 6 June are the last online classes in the 4-week block that was covered by the $20 voluntary contribution to Platinum Community Taekwon-Do Inc. A total of $580 was raised to be used to support Taekwon-Do in the community. We would like to ta...ke this opportunity to thank all our instructors who volunteered their time and expertise in the planning and delivery of each of these sessions for the total of ten weeks Sabumnims Adeline Cheong, Paul Raymond, Michael Hayward, Michael Harwood and Michael Byrnes. Online classes were new to all of us! 2. We will continue an online offering with some adjustments in order to make room for some possible classes in the dojang: New online classes Mixed ranks like the ones we have been running (4 week block to take us to the end of Term 2): a) Tuesday 6pm and b) Saturday 9.30am (these replace the Thursday 5pm and Saturday 10am and 1045am classes) Costs for the four-week block of online classes: $24 for one class a week per student $48 for two classes a week per student Class dates: Tuesday 9 June Saturday 13 June Tuesday 16 June Saturday 20 June Tuesday 23 June Saturday 27 June Tuesday 30 June Saturday 4 July Payment by bank transfer to your regular instructor. If you trained last term and would like to claim a credit now, the credit amounts are $30 if you were training once per week or $55 if you were training twice a week. You can hold off claiming this till your Term 3 fee or if you feel that you dont wish to claim it at all that is ok too. Registration is by email only to [email protected] with your name and rank. Please also confirm amount paid or if you are using your Term 1 class credit. Please note Term 1 class credit must be used no later than Term 3. 3. Our new online kids class (Tuesday 5pm) kicked off last night and is now full. It was a pleasure to have a great group of super focused kids! 4. Please register for the online classes by no later than Sunday 7 June as this will assist us to kick start Platinum TKD back into the dojang. 5. Please dont be too disappointed if your dojang doesnt start back in Term 2, instead please come to another dojang and or the online classes. Thank you for your support!
