23.01.2022 FATHERS DAY & OTHER IMPORTANT NEWS It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that I have to announce I wont be taking orders for Fathers Day. Whilst I am allowed to work, its been an extremely challenging & conflicting situation I have been put in. I am NOT an essential service. And by me continuing these boxes at the rate I am, I continue to put my own health, and my familys at risk. Not to mention, not really doing my bit for the State by staying home. I am wracke...d with guilt every time I walk out the door. Stage 4 restrictions mean I am NOT ALLOWED to get help! That means, unless I officially employ someone, I cant call on my usual tribe to assist me during busy times. I have cried genuine tears over the decision. I know I will be letting people down, however .. I have to follow my gut and do what sits right. I physically cant do Fathers Day on my own. I also need to announce that I will NOT be taking any more orders, effective immediately, until after the weekend of Fathers Day. So, from Monday 7th Sep. Unfortunately, I have to move house ... in amung this mess that is a State Disaster & global pandemic, I was issued with my notice to vacate so the Landlord can move back in I was very fortunate enough to find another property very quickly but it means I have 2 weeks to pack and move ! IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PLACED YOUR ORDER WITH ME, I WILL STILL BE HONOURING YOUR ORDER - SO PLEASE DONT WORRY! It just means, unfortunately if I have not yet confirmed your order with you, I will be unable to do so. I am so incredibly sorry and it is breaking my heart that I cannot help each of you. Without your continued support and belief in me, my little Platter Pixie business would not be growing at the rate of knots!! The positive side to all this is ... whilst Im moving house , I am having a revamp on my website which will hopefully mean ordering will become a whole lot easier ... for us all If you made it this far, I thank you again. 13.01.2022 NEW HOUSE UPDATE Just wanted to pop on quickly and let you all know .. after the coldest/ wettest weekend in Melbourne in 21 years, we have managed to successfully move house . As you can all appreciate, this is a massive task at the best of times .. add Covid & the restrictions in place, my partner & I have done the entire move on our own. Its been a massive few days & we have finally just handed keys back to old agent. I have a few messages to respon...d to, but I will get to them soon. Thanks for your patience PLEASE NOTE- I STILL HAVE NO INTERNET AT MY NEW PROPERTY AND THE SERVICE IS REALLY AVERAGE ... I literally have to stand at my front door to send/receive messages Its a total PIA and very inconvenient when trying to run a business! 09.01.2022 Antipasto Grazing is ever so popular. People often ask me how many people my boxes feed. This box is small box. I say it feeds up to 5 people. However there are so many variables to this ... such as - ages, time of day, is there any other food on offer? Ive been told that a couple has enjoyed over 3 days, and that its fed a family of 5 as a meal. ... There really are no hard and fast rules. I guess when deciding on the size of the box, you just need to take into account the above variables and obviously, budget. Small antipasto is $70 however there are 4 size options available

07.01.2022 Hi Pixie Friends - an important note - I am completely booked out for any more orders this week!! I have said it for weeks - Stage 4 is really limiting my capacity to take on additional orders due to the restrictions around getting any helpers. This means there is a limit to the number of boxes I can physically prepare & deliver in one day. Whilst it pains me to say no, I just cannot take on any more orders! I am so sorry! 01.01.2022 SINCEREST CONDOLENCES When I first started my business, never did I imagine that I would be providing families with a Platter Pixie Box by which they can sit together and remember loved ones lost. What definitely was never in my plan, was providing boxes for families who have lost loved ones to this horrific virus, the virus that has changed all our lives in 2020. Normally my boxes are a symbol of celebration and joy, the past 2 weeks however, I have delivered more ...boxes for families who have fallen victim to this virus than I ever would have thought possible.And let me tell you... It hits home & IT IS FREAKING HEARTBREAKING I just wanted to take a minute to let you all know that this has greatly contributed to my decision to scale back operations for the time being. The reality is real and we ALL need to do what we can to overcome this. I will be honouring all existing orders, and I WILL take on new orders ONLY for condolence boxes, as its a time for people to sit, reflect & remember. This is what grieving familys need. To all my customers who have lost loved ones, my heart goes out to you all. I hope you can all find a way to get through this challenging time.
