25.01.2022 This week we have been working with colours. We have enjoyed moving the rainbow arches one by one onto the mat and matching them to their matching them with coloured cards.

23.01.2022 I love showing kids how to take care of themselves, these pictures show our morning activities. Juicing an orange, spreading butter on a cracker, washing up a glass cup and drying a plate. They love it to, when we can take care ourselves we are on the path of happiness

04.01.2022 At platypus montessori we love working with clay. Squeezing it in our fists and rolling it flat with a rolling pin strengthens our hands. Clay work requires more strength than playdough, it feels gooey in our fingers and it also changes temperature with the weather. Its also fun to clean it off the table with soapy water and a scrubbing brush.
