17.01.2022 Have you seen these awesome kits at Kmart? Inexpensive & perfect projects for weekends & holidays. Today Miss 7 is making the Eiffel Tower.... They don't always go together like the pictures on the box but its all about the process not the end product!!

12.01.2022 I’m sure many parents have seen this before but it’s worth another share. I often hear parents commenting about the lack of writing from their child or their inability to hold a pencil correctly & write between the lines. This is a great visual of just why they can’t.

07.01.2022 Let kids be kids!! Now I definitely do not like any creepy crawlies but my kids are obsessed with snails at the moment & there is HEAPS around. Over the last couple of afternoons they have collected snails & leaves from my plants to create a snails habitat in an empty birdcage.... Its driving me INSANE but they are observing & looking after these snails having a blast. Sometimes we need to let kids take direction of their own learning & there is SO MUCH through these self directed play activities. Stop & listen to the language, the questions, the wondering. Let them use technology afterwards to answer their questions all of this helps them to develop reading skills, problem solving, working with others & looking further ahead research skills!! You'll be amazed!
