25.01.2022 Play2Learn Kindy in Leeming has a part-time position available for a Diploma/coordinator role working with children aged 2 to 4 years. The hours are 8.30 am to 3.00 pm Monday to Friday (plus extra hours for planning). Play2Learn Kindy is a one room centre, which offers a holistic, play based curriculum where the childrens interests, culture and abilities are the foundations for developing each childs self-confidence to succeed. The position requires a minimum of diploma lev...el who is required to be in charge of day to day running of the centre with support from the assistant educator. The role will be responsible for the planning and implementation of suitable programs to children attending the Centre, supporting their general development, in conjunction with creating a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment. To be considered for this role, you will also require: AQF Diploma in Childrens Services or equivalent as recognised by Regulatory Authorities Experienced room leader/ responsible person Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework; Understand and adhere to policies and procedures. We understand that this will be difficult for both parents and the children so we thought we would provide some information about separation anxiety in children, along with some tips on how to help your child. This is a perfectly normal part of their growth and development and we are here to help and guide them through these times. 06.01.2022 A big thank you to the Association for the Welfare of Children in Hospital! The visit helped to support children to understand what to expect when visiting the hospital and to explore doctor/nurses dress ups and medical equipment. The children had fun trialling the crutches, wheelchair, bandaging each other and checking heart and blood pressure.
